I think you'll find that the reason you're getting such a hostile reception is that you and others keep on posting crap like this. Our owners have not spent money they don't have;the money is not secured as a loan..therefore we are not the same as, say Pompey. It gets a little boring when other fans and journalists trip out this lazy **** without knowing the real facts. Also, by what you say, I presume you begrudge Citeh for buying their success and Chelsae and any other club that spend money to try to achieve success?
Well said ELLERS, fecking Scummers, half of them are pony fiddlers and from what we now call little Warsaw!
This is how sad the Scummers are!......................... http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/198537-Southampton-v-Queens-Park-Rangers-match-thread
I get the distinct impression that the majority of Saints fans giving it large on this thread won't even know where the Dell was and who Lawrie McMenemy was. I would imagine that if they could remember the golden era of Keegan, Ball, Channon, Shilts, Williams, Mills, Watson et al, then of course they'd be that bit older and that bit more mature. To express hatred for a club spending (allegedly) beyond its means shows a particularly selective and short memory. May sees the 4th anniversary of Saints going into administration. Wikipedia describes this as being a consequence of the club's inability to meet its "staff wages commitments". Doesn't this sound rather like a club that spent beyond its means and failed to manage its cash flows properly? Of course the circumstances will differ, as will the magnitude of the debt/cash problem, to (say) where Portsmouth finds itself... or perhaps where they see/hope QPR to be heading. But there's clearly a pot and a kettle here... and they both have a rather dark hue, don't they? As football supporters, we should all be united in condemning the frivolous spending habits and mis-management of certain club owners and boards. The footballing authorities should ensure that owners put money into clubs in the form of risk capital (i.e. ordinary or perhaps preferred equity) and not secured debt. Us fans should enjoy some rivalry and friendly banter, but to express hatred of clubs because of such circumstances is plainly ignorant and wrong, especially if that hatred is extended to the innocent, suffering fans of the clubs in question. The Rs and Saints have both been there and bounced back. If we are true football fans we should wish for Portsmouth to survive their tribulations and that no other club faces a similar fate. If that's not where you are, then shame on you - I pity your club for having you as a fan.
Well said, they could well have gone the same way as us , had old Big Nose Le Tiss had his way, but they have very selective memories they seem to think they have always had a billionaire family behind them albeit from dubious german reich jewish gold connections. They could have ended up with Fialka a Mummy's boy like most scummers, who's mum ran a ladies lingerie business in London with a taxi driver dad, as he lived at home and wanted to be the new owner of Scumhampton and take them out of administration a year before we first entered administration. Selective memories or what must be all that horse fiddling and inbreeding http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...r-Fialka-money-man-mummys-boy-rolled-one.html
If, in the unlikely event, that Skates actually had to play QPR, SB3 would be on here like a rash slagging off everything about you, so take anything he posts with a pinch of salt. 99% of Saints fans are pretty good, every team has a few renegades that can't control themselves. As was said, there is no real animosity against QPR as such. The situation is that you are Managed by the guy that got us relegated, so obviously he isn't regarded in the best light, particularly as he ran off to Skate as soon as the dirty deed was done. You, also are a threat to our own survival so we obviously want a result against you, but are not taking you for granted, the best team on the day will get a result, I just hope it is a fair contest, we are where we are because too often the luck has not gone our way, that's what happens to teams around the basement. Good luck for the rest of the Season, don't give up yet there is a long way to go.
You are just a filthy pony fiddling Scummer, just admit it! We Pompey boys all know what you New Forest lady/ boys are like
Going places now though, aren't they? Good luck for the future btw, after saturday that is. I don't think many Saints fans bear your club any ill will - and we do know what it's like to suffer. Though if any of you make the trip down to the beautiful south, expect a lively reception for your manager.
Hysterectomy Repeating you are obviously misinformed or just a bit thick like most scummers, we avoided liquidation today. You were so close to going under you should be ashamed of yourself by enjoying our current and let it be said ongoing plight. I would perhaps consider gladly shoving a glass in your face like Barnard did in Scumhampton. Shove it up your arse you filthy scummer.
Shouldn't you find some Crewe fans to wind up? What sort of away following do you think you'll take up there? Double figures maybe?
Good to see the Pompey pick up a point sb3 shame your bottom of league 1 by 6 pts and are certain for relegation.. still you will have 10 pts deducted next season in league 2 And then non league football And lets face it , who really cares
The reputation is there for that sole reason. The fact I had no power means it's worthless when I do de-rep. That's good then!
That my friend is a superbly written response. It would be difficult for any true football fan to argue against any of that. Nice one uber.
