Cheers for the great response lads, far better than I wished for. This is my first time back on here since I posted it. Your post was genius uber. I did intend to elaborate with the play on words with the players names, but it was getting late and had a few vino rouges in me, so had to rush it as it was getting late. The original idea was to come up with an analogy of unconditional loyalty, no matter how bad things seem or get. The restaurant was the best that I could come up with. I love going out for dinner and often frequent the same establishments. And I'm sure like many of you on here, it only takes one bad experience for me never to return. This is why it sickens me that football clubs generally take us for granted. I would imagine every company outside of football wished they could obtain that brand loyalty.
