As many of you will know, I like my advanced technology, hence I downloaded google chrome last week. It is faster than internet explorer, you should try it. The only thing is, every time I write, "realise" or something, a squiggly red line appears below it. Obviously it is set up for American spelling, how do I change it to British spelling, or better yet, turn the whole spelling pish off?(Another red line under the word "pish"!)
Spell-check Do you type too fast? Google Chrome's built-in spell-checker can automatically check your spelling in web forms and text fields. Use web services to get suggestions for spelling errors You can choose this option to enable a smarter spell-checking function by sending the text you type into the browser to Google's servers. This allows Chrome to use the same spell-checking technology as Google search. To enable this feature, right-click inside the text field that you're typing in and select Spell-checker options > Ask Google for suggestions. Adjust spell-checker settings This section below is applicable to Windows and Linux only 1.Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar. 2.Select Settings. 3.Click Show advanced settings. 4.In the "Languages" section, click Languages and spell-checker settings. 5.In the Languages and Input dialog that appears, use the "Enable spell checking" checkbox to turn the spell-checker on or off. If you want to use the spell-checker, select the language from the list that you want to use and click Use this language for spell checking on the right. If the language isn't listed, first add it as one of your preferred languages. There's a chance that the language you add may not have a spell-checker dictionary available. If that's the case, you won't be able to check your spelling in that language. Add a new word to the dictionary If the spell-checker keeps underlining a word that you often use, right-click the word and select Add to dictionary. At this time, it's not possible to remove a word from the dictionary. Temporarily turn off the spell-checker You can temporarily disable the spell-checker for the field you're typing in. Follow these steps: 1.Right-click the text field. 2.Select Spell-checker options (Mac: Spelling and Grammar). 3.Deselect "Check the spelling of this field" (Mac: Check spelling while typing).
nope, i'm sure there probably is a toolbar somewhere, but I don't know where or what it is. I just want to turn off the spell check thingy
I will if I want to. I used to live vicariously through him until he put a stop to it. He deserves everything I throw at him. The ****.
I see they've stopped selling pies at Pittodrie. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/aberdeen-fc-remove-meat-pies-1732030 Apparently some insensitive bastard's been putting mutton in them. Don't they know about the sexual preferences of the locals?
