It is not certain yet at what stage Swansea will start it's Europa League campaign. In order of priority. FA Cup Winners = Europa League Play Offs League Cup Winners = 3rd Qualifying Round or then Play Offs FA Cup Runners Up = 3rd Qualifying Round or then Play Offs League Cup Runners Up = 3rd Qualifying Round The order of qualifying rounds. First Qualifying Round (Q1) Second Qualifying Round (Q2) Third Qualifying Round (Q3) Play Off (Q4) Ground Stage (Round 1) What this means is: The team that wins the FA Cup gets the Europa League Play-Off berth (Q4) -But if that winning team is already in Europe, it passes to the League Cup winners The team that wins the League Cup gets the 3rd Qualifying Round berth (Q3) -Unless the FA Cup Winners are already in Europe, if so the League Cup winners are promoted to the Europa Play Off. So, if a team like Man Utd win the FA Cup then Swansea will not have to play the 3rd Qualifying Round (Q3) matches, we go straight into the Play Off match (Q4). Pray for a big team to win at Wembley this summer!
But didnt Chelsea win the FA cup last year and liverpool still had to play in the third qualifying round. Did that have something to do with spurs finishing fourth and not getting champions league.
Not sure about that, I don't follow Liverpool http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/P...tory-18264625-detail/story.html#axzz2M5JVlf7p
