Id guess as we're on the cusp of March it must be new kit supplier and sponsor. Would be a strange time for anything else commercial really.
Do Cash Converters and Adidas' deals run out this summer? Thought they had a year left? Edit: I hope it's a sock-blower.
Adidas runs out this summer, Cash Converters also runs out, but they had the option of an additional year(which hopefully they haven't taken up).
If it is kit and sponsor there's a lot riding on it for Thommo (as Im now dubbing him). Or would it have been agreed prior to his appointment?
He'll be briefed to get the best deal for the club and if that was someone like Cash Converters so be it. I can't see Papa telling him to get a sponsor that the fans will like but doesn't make much money. I'd like to see KC back involved but I don't know if we got very much out of that deal last time around?
If you read the quote it says exciting announcement for businesses and hull city fans so can't see it being a new kit sponsor. Just hope the council have seen sense and sold the stadium and building can begin with local businesses being involved in the massive project.
I hope it's a new kit sponsor. Cash Converters has just been a blunder. Adidas have had their 3 years too, so it could be a join announcement of new kit manufacturer and sponsor.
