I didn't pay too much attention to the blog as everyone always goes on about how bad the clowns the BBC have doing these blogs are, but the fans comments are interesting (where i got most of my information with regards to West Ham's situation).

I had a dream the other night that I had a meeting with Holloway, and he said he would loan us Aaron Lennon next season. Not quite sure how he'd manage that...

I hope Blackpool stay up anyway, even though we'd probably rather have them in the Championship with us than any of the others. Holloway is an all round good guy and deserves total respect off anybody in football.

After how all the pundits and bookies were so quick to right them off at the start of the season and the fact they like to play football the right way and have a go at teams it'd be good if they could stay up. Like us in our first year in the PL they've gone for teams, but unlike us they haven't let a few bad results affect the way they approach games. They also have a very strict wage structure in place, so going down wouldn't hurt them too much in this respect.

I think everyone found Holloway amusing to start with, then after a while it started to get on a lot of peoples nerves.

Still, at least they don't go on about his tan. <whistle>

as someone said above, blackpool can still lose to man-u and stay up on goals scored, which is way more than other teams around them.

i have it go down like this,

bham, wigan, west ham go down

    man-u v blackpool 2-1
stoke v wigan 2-0 (a win will put them in the top 10 to cap a successful season)
spurs v bham 3-0 (spurs will end the season with a win and birmingham are pants at the moment)
wolves v blackburn 1-1 (both will be fighting for the win and cancel each other out) & even if one of them does win, they still both stay up

I want any two of Wigan, Blackburn, Blackpool. Way too many ****ty north west towns with prem football. Although I suspect it will be one of them plus Birmingham who seem to be in freefall.

This made me laugh, probably because there was so much truth in what he said.

I want Wigan and Blackburn to come down, but I think they'll both stay up. I think Wolves and Birmingham will be the ones joining us.

Edit: ****, forgot about Blackpool. Think they'll come down instead of Brum. <whistle>

Blackpool and Birmingham to go for me. Think Wigan will get something at Stoke. Good riddance for Birmingham, too. They've a lot of dislikable players.

Wolves and Blackburn will manage a so so surprising 0-0 - both safe on 41
Spurs will thump Brum 3-0 to finish 5th - 39 Brum and down
Wigan will manage a point at Stoke who are on holiday - 40pts and safe
Blackpool will have a good go at Man U of course but lose 3-1 - 39 pts and down

Blackpool & Brum (who have many injuries) will join us.. doesn't mean I "want" them to but that's how I read it.. I am just happy West Ham got what they deserved finally.. they will now be fed to the Lions.. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Would have preferred Wolves to come down, but unfortunately don't see it happening.
Hated the posters from Wolves gloating on the HDM site. Just wanted to have another go at them.
Will have to wait till next season, when we go up - and they go down.

Agree with the poster, Birmingham and Blackpool!

If Bpool keep Holloway I expect the to be pushing for a return next season, personally I'd much rather see the chicken farmers get relegated!
