What are the Camel shaggers thinking Warnocks an idiot , but not half as bad a that clown. But I can't wait to see McLaren try and do a Yorkshire accent http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/feb/26/steve-mcclaren-leaves-fc-twente
He does fit the age profile gfh mentioned. A young ambitious manager, or at least he was once upon a time
GFH are pulling out all the stops - they've just sent him a present. please log in to view this image
Tc I believe Mclaren was born in Yorkshire so he doesn,t need to put on his accent if you listen carefully to hom he sounds as if he comes from the Hull area
Morning all. At club level Mclaren wasn't too bad. More to the point, his European experience suggests he would know what he's doing. It was only at international level where he came up short. Not top of my list of choices for next manager, but not entirely out of the question.
Despite having just got the elbow, Twente are actually fifth in the league, only six points behind leaders PSV and his record this season is P/24 W/12 D/8 L/4. He's hardly been a disaster.
Point noted TC. But as I said earlier, he's not my first choice. He wouldn't be my 2nd or 3rd either. But 4th or 5th maybe. Still hoping for Adkins.
As much as I don't want it to happen, I think Leeds will end up with Nigel Adkins as he obviously has high aims and there's a rumour floating around somewhere that Leeds are a smart investment...
He's not actually doing that bad this season either. He must be coming back here and we're going to be linked with him now until Warnock's replacement is sorted. Thats unless someone has already tapped him up (please god).
So that would make him 1000 x better than agent Warnock - maybe the camel shaggers should sign him up then
