When we've picked the bones out of this season's campaign it really hasn't been all bad. Please consider the following reasons: We've had our best defender out for the entire season. RVP has scored over 20 goals even though he's missed a chunk of the season. We've found 2 capable goalkeepers. Nasri has had a good season. Walcott looks far more rounded as a player. Chamakh looks a goal threat when he plays. Jack Wilshire and Aaron Ramsey look like they can control games (see man u @ Ashburton) Song is a very strong def mid and has added dynamism to his game. he's played like Essien at times. We were one good touch away from knocking Barca out. Most of our disappointments came from individual errors. I'm not the type to revel in other teams downfalls so I won't be mentioning the folowing: Spurs have failed to qualify for the Champions League Chelsea have won nothing. Birmingham may be relegated. Stoke continue to be universally hated in the football world. Man City will struggle when FFP comes into play. Manchester United have not been as exciting as in previous seasons. It's time to pick ourselves up and look forward to next season.
We have been picking ourselves up for the last 6 years, only to say at the end of the seventh "time to pick ourselves up, we'll be stronger next season".
Blimey Super Injunction....can I borrow your beer goggles? I only ask because I'm not sure what team you've been watching. Chamakh a goal threat? He couldn't threaten a wind-blown paper bag. Song: NO. I could go on and on but can't be bothered. The team is a badly unbalanced mish-mash of some highly skilled individuals who have no idea how to play and FIGHT like a team. Agree with you about Stoke tho.
