Paddy Power have chalked up CAMDEN at a mahoosive 6-1 for tomorrows Sussex National (4.10 Lingfield). make them pay!
Wincanton 4.00 Military Precsion 11/2 Is expected to show improved form tomorrow now sent handicapping Good Luck
I'll be opposing you Stick. 4.10 Ling - BIG OCCASION @ 10/1 Excuse the cliche - he's been layed out for this!
What price is he for the Surrey National tomorrow though? 2.30 Glenwood Prince A horse I have seen a couple of times this season, and he looked like the sort of horse they were getting ready for handicaps. He looked green on his hurdles debut, giving it all a good look around in the paddock and he ran on fairly from a hopeless position. He then was given another two educational runs in fair novice races and now goes handicapping off a double figure mark. They chuck the tongue tie on, and that along with the ease in company should help bring about improvement, and I think they have a well handicapped horse here with Glenwood Prince.
EMPEROR'S CHOICE all day long in the 410 Lingfield. Looks a thorough stayer and only just got up last time out from the admirable Sydney Paget. At 9/4 he is a short enough price but the extra 2f should bring about further improvement and I'm confident he will land the hat-trick.
Tinged with sentiment this one but L'HIRONDELLE Kempton 7.00 50-1 is a massive price at the weights. He has won off more than this as recently as October and his last three runs have been over too far. Dropped back to a mile he is a course and distance winner. All heart is Ronnie and he wont be far away, incredible price!
Surely he shouldnt be that green having had four runs in points??? BOOMTOWN KAT for me @ 22-1. C&D winner back off a handy mark. Looks way too big!
2.00 Wincanton: OSCAR AMY should take a world of beating up in trip and on a sounder surface after shaping with plenty promise in heavy ground over 2m on debut.
I put up both Camden and Big Occasion on their latest starts and although I think the latter is on a good mark I think Camden will have the better chance of the pair.
6:00 Kempton: FORCEFUL FLAME 6/1 With Tom Brown claiming 5lb and the handicapper dropping him 3 for a run that was not devoid of promise over course and distance last time out, Forceful Flame looks an interesting runner here. He was only beaten 3 and a bit lengths when starting to run on late and an 8lb helping from the handicapper ought to just about put him bang there. Good opportunity for him. 6.30 Kemtpon: SOLE DANSER 7/1 There has been early support for Gabbiano in this who has shaped like an unlucky horse once or twice, and Robert Tarts 7lb claim will be in his favour. However, Sole Danser has run rock solid races at Kempton and I think that is because the track suits his style. It is a pretty long straight and he ought to have every chance to run on and nab this on the line if his jockey can get him a clear run. He will be held up from stall 10 but that is the way he likes it. He is very strong at the finish and ought to have 2 course and distance successes to his name but for being hampered on one of his visits here. Graham Lee is usually a solid judge of pace and that will be key.
Having a lazy day but 3.50 Bangor Double Dash 4/1 will take a substantial amount of beating in my opinion.
Not really sure if i am missing something here but in the 4.20 at Bangor, how is Coverholder racing off a 6lb lower mark tomorrow than when completing the four timer last time out?
I think its something to do with being unpenalised for winning a conditional jockeys race, his mark is probably due to go up in the next few days!
Morning all. One that interests me to today is Westlin Winds @ 20/1 in the 3.20 at Bangor. This time 3 years ago this one was contemplating a spin in Soldatinos Triumph Hurdle. Since then he's gone through 4 trainers, a few changes of ownership, had a brief but unsuccessful go at fences, campaigned on the flat and few spins on the all weather. Could be a complete dodge pot but today runs of a career low mark and with his claimer jockey taking off another 5. A little each way investment from me in the hope that this 7 year old retains some of the ability which once saw him get a 2 length beating (conceding 7lb) from the talented Mille Chief. Good luck all. Not long 'til the big un now.
Fairyhouse 2.55 Shesonlyahorse 25/1 3.55 Knockanarrigan 20/1 NAP Ill fling in Famous Last Words 100/1 in the first for a Mark Enright treble but I couldnt possibly advise it, not the worst animal ive ever seen but this company looks a tad hot.
