The bottom left corner of the moon (Well, kinda corner as much as possible for a spherical object) doesn't look right - there is sky between it and the mountain range, are you sure this is real?

 

It claims to be!

That's absolutely impossible, some continent must be underwater at the moment.

 

It's from a well recognised site and claims to be genuine, what more can I say?

 

They can still have photo shopped pictures though, but It's a cool picture by the way would love to go to Rio.

I've been there a few times and I guess that overall I have witnessed all phases of the moon and I can't say I ever saw anything like that. I am not sure where the picture was taken from as I doubt it is Sugar Loaf as looking back inland you would see the cable car and smaller mountain in the foreground so it could be an aerial shot. If you look at the photo any lights on hills are illegal favelas where power has been hijacked - shows how many people live in them. If any of you are thinking about going to Rio I can recommend it - it has excellent big ticket sights and beaches although in my experience the Copocabana was populated by old american men picking up prostitutes and lots of pretty boys attempting to find, shall we call it trade? Never been anywhere where so many people have had plastic surgery or so many people in speedos who should not even be allowed to say the word speedo let alone sport them! If you go to South America try to go to Iguassa Falls. Unbelievable waterfalls on the Bra/Arg border. Make sure you see both sides - I guarantee you won't be disapppointed.

Dresden Files series is full of Star Wars quotes and Cold Days the latest book has 2 of the lead female characters both quote Star Wars at Harry Dresden in it. seriously hot for getting the references in and double hot for having them from the ladies of the piece

If anyone loves a bit of Murder mystery/Magic/Sleuthing/Peril thing then I heartily recommend reading them.

 

While some of the pictures are genuine on Earth Pics, quite a few have been through some Photoshopping, like this one unfortunately

 

Do they not leave themselves open to action by declaring it to be genuine?
