Saturday 2nd March, St Marys Stadium, kick off 3pm. A big match for both sides - a win for Saints will move them closer to safety and QPR closer to Championship football next season. A win for QPR and it gives them renewed belief and it will be squeaky bum time for Saints fans. One person who won't be sitting comfortably in his seat on Saturday is Harry Redknapp who will be subject to a barrage of abuse from Saints fans for obvious reasons. Match officials Referee: Howard Webb Assistants: M Mullarkey and M Wilkes 4th offical: J Adcock Team news No injury concerns for Saints but changes may be made after losing at Newcastle. Hooiveld, Davis and Rodriguez's places could be under threat with Fonte/Forren, Ramirez and Puncheon waiting to replace them. As for QPR, Remy has recovered from injury and will probably replace Zamora up front. They also have a fully fit squad as far as I am aware. Form guide Saints: DDLDWL QPR: DDDDLL QPR are quite simply struggling to win matches. They are harder to beat than earlier in the season but draws are not enough for them at this stage. My prediction A tense 2-0 win for Saints with goals from Ramirez and Lambert with a late penalty. I can't see this match being one sided but I think Saints will have too much for QPR at SMS.

My prediction is long term, we will put one of the last nails in thier coffin and in time they will be duely relegated. Happy Harry and his band of over paid has beens will jump ship in the summer. Fernandez will appoint NA as new manager with a sensible budget for new players and NA will turn this vipers nest of a club into one happy band of brothers that will be pushing for automatic promotion but just fail, only to get promoted the next year with Billy Sharp as the Championship top scorer.
It really is make or break for QPR now and if they are to pull off a Pompey, with a run of very winnable fixtures, it probably needs to start against us. I think they will be much more attacking then we have seen them before and will try and match our energy. I don't think we will keep a clean sheet, and I don't think it will be easy, but it's a game we really need to be aiming to get three points from. Also, it's about time that we came from behind to win. I think we will trail at half time 0-1 and come back to win 2-1.
Tom Sneaky starting after a defeat. You'd better get us a win this week or you're out! Only jesting! We need to win this for several reasons. Not least we need the points!
That will make a change for them scoring a goal! Seriously though if we can't boss a midfield with Jermaine Jenas in we want shooting!
Yeah, I'm not particularly confident of winning this, for whatever reason. I mean, we really should be winning it. Although that said, I think QPR will get their goal (be it an equaliser or a winner) earlier in the game.
Can't believe that we have only 2 more points than QPR in the last 6 games...just shows how important it is to get out of bottom three early as it is very hard later when other clubs keep ticking over. We should win and it would be lovely to get a couple of early goals...reality, they will score early and we will have 8 shots without scoring, but hopefully get one back at the end.
And likewise, only three times all season have we conceded two goals in a league game at home (vs Utd, Wigan and Spurs).
Yep. If we score first, as we are wont to do, we need to do as Swansea did before us: use that period where QPR seems to let out a collective "oh, not this again" after surrendering to put the match out of reach.
I am confident of a home win after drawing with arsenal,Everton ,and then beating man city 3-1. 2-0 home win for me.
