One thing that should come from today. Hopefully now teams will not be kicked out of cups for not signing forms correctly. I always thought the punishment never fitted the crime. Still though we require an explanation how rangers saving 50m in tax is not an advantage? Without that money they would have went into admin sooner and would never have won recent leagues.
It is the right punishment. If they can't fill in a form*properly, **** em. It is the cheats and liars at the SFA that are the problem and no **** is going to anything about that.
The saddest day in the history of Scottish football , all 11 chairmen of the other spl teams have to come out with a statement , how a club found guilty of cheating for the last 11 years have got of scot free .
All Rangers players fielded were eligible. Teams that field ineligible players get kicked out of cup competitions. Not difficult to grasp unless blinded by rage. Or a ****ing slevering *****. Or in harry's case, both.
He never said they weren't eligible. That they were is of course down to the curious interpretation of the SFA registrar, but that is a moot point really. He said cheating....which is what I consider the deliberate and systematic practice invalidly registering players for a period of 11 years to be. You can argue otherwise if you like. It isn't going to bring your club back one way or the other.
Yes, it would seem that you are correct that Rangers' players were legally eligible ... but also, it would seem, only due to the situation whereby the SPL rules are so inadequate that they do not contain any provision for revoking a registration retrospectively/once it has been accepted, despite the fact that the deliberate withholding of information, in respect of payments to players, is in contravention of those registration rules and would have caused the SPL to refuse registration had they known of the deceitful infringement at time of application. A bit farcical to say the least - would you not agree?
The only *****'s are you Huns , celebrating been found guilty , Rangers cheats then , Sevco cheats now , Sevco cheats forever .
will this have an effect on the big tax case appeal? the original said they were loans, LNS said they were payments
Nimmo smith's statement clearly outlines three entities. Old company, new company and club. Oldco were the owners and operators of the club at the time when the most heinous crimes were committed. The club is now owned and operated by a new company. Uefa and the sfa still maintain its the same club. Why a bunch of desperate ****s cling to the myth is beyond me. Must be an empty life you all lead.
