    Well summed up SOS!

I think the difference with Sig, was that he actually got more than 10 mins and had time to adjust to the game, before it was over.
He looked very dangerous on the left hand side, especially when defenders allowed him to cut it back onto his right foot and swing a cross in. - this could be another option for us now. I think it' only fair that he gets some game time. Dempsey has had loads, has rarely impressed and I personally think Sig is a much more gifted footballer. - It just hasn't worked out for him so far.

Holtby was unfortunate asked to play left, at least we now know not to do that too often! It was a casualty of giving Bale the 'middle' role, Sigurdsson although not the ultimate answer (someone like Nani would!) is better there. Bales emergence in the middle/no.10 role, with AVB tending to agree, it puts a Q mark on where Holtby plays now for me. I find Parker a bit of pain now, his forward runs were typically blinkered up blind alleys, and as I said before, if we're not up against a side we're going to get pressurised from, I don't see the need for a 'stopper' if we've got the majority of possession. I think a deeper pair of Dembele and Holtby may be worth a discussion, as I'm not sure about Livermore.

Yeah definitely, he's deserved a start for some time, it was disappointing that he hasn't even had starts in some of the Europa games as players like him need the game time. He showed what he can do yesterday and hopefully he'll be able to build upon that if Andre gives him the chance. I just said in the Arsenal match thread that I'd rather we went for a 4-6-0 formation, dropping Ade and allowing Bale a free role to accomodate Sig into the team. Bale seems far better when he's not stuck in one position, so to have him roam about, with Sigurdsson and Holtby rotating postions, I think it could cause Arsenal damage. Bale's record against them is quite impressive and they'll be working on how to double up on him, so by having him play across the front line, it'll confuse Arsenal and hopefully open space not just for Bale but the attacking trio of Azza, Sig and Holtby. I doubt Andre will go for it to be honest, but I think it's a damn site better than having to endure another performance from Ade.

I think a deeper role would suit Holtby, he's played a bit there for Schalke, I think he has all the attributes to play as a "deep lying playmaker" like a Pirlo/ Xabi Alonso type and I'd be all for it. He also seems willing to work for the ball which is nice, both he and Dembele may not be defensively minded but they show a willingness to track back and get stuck in, it could defintely work. I've said for too long that Parker and Demebele just don't work well and so a change would be welcome.

Can't stop watching all the replays today of Bale's winner, thing is not one poster or pundit has noted Siggy's run across the 18yd line, blocking the view of Jaaskelainen as Bale decides to hit it. Its just a split second but all he needed as the keeper was caught for that split second on his heels and like all of us, wasn't expecting that. :)

Spuds are getting some outrageous luck this season. If it was'nt for all that uncanny luck you might be in mid table, a very familiar place for spud fc.

    Luck? What luck?
Number of penalties awarded to Spurs this season: 0
Number of result changing goals conceded in the last 5 minutes this season: 6 at the expense of 9 points
Number of result changing goals scored in the last 5 minutes this season: 2 providing 4 points

Spurs have still lost more points from winning positions than they have gained from losing positions. There is no luck involved. Its learning from poor defending in the last 10 minutes and pushing more for the win / draw.

Congratulations, your post has managed to contain less truth and more gaps in logic than Oscar Pistorius' defense.

I think we'd all better pray to the gods that Bale doesn't get injured, because frankly, i have no idea where else a goal is coming from.

judging by those pics WY, I think it's safe to say there's little unrest in our squad.

great togetherness shown in those photos. Our team spirit will aid us so much at this stage of the season.
