Been using this a lot since getting it as an xmas present, well woth investing in as something a little different. Been to Moro in Soho also a top place to eat. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Moro-East-Samuel-Clark/dp/0091941873
Day off today, just burnt a pizza for lunch and am making a chilli for dinner later. Have a suspicion it's going to end up ridiculously hot.
So I've seen a few of you arguing on here about terminology for meals at certain times of the day. Obviously, breakfast is a no-brainer. However, there has been dispute about what meal is eaten next, with some saying 'lunch' and some dinner. We then come on to the later meal of the day. Some call this tea and some call it dinner. The term for a meal slotted in around 11.00 am is 'brunch' and not 'brinner'. I guess this means the mid-day one must be lunch. My take on the final main one is: if it's around 5 - 6 pm, it's tea. Anything later than this and it's dinner. That is all
I have lunch at lunch time.. difference between tea and dinner for me depends what I have.. If say I have beans on toast or scrambled eggs or such like then thats tea, if I make something proper then that is dinner. Chief is just too stubborn to admit he is wrong and thinks eating pork pies an sandwiches at lunch time is dinner. Made a chilli last night for dinner. wasnt my best effort in all honesty and am not sure why it wasnt that good.
Roast turkey, lettuce, spring onion and pesto wrap for lunch! I'm dying to eat it. I also switched porridges and the proper oats are 10x nicer
It is dinner. When you were at school did you have lunch ladies? No, did you ****. End of argument. For dinner today I am living the dream by having one sandwich of roast pork and mustard and another of corned beef and branston pickle. Oh, yes.
They're called lunch attendants now If you go into a restaurant at lunch time do they hand you the lunch menu or the dinner menu?
