How to ban someone. MOD's aren't meant to have the power to do it, we only request that someone is banned.

 

Where's the fun in being a Mod if you can't ban somebody occasionally? Whilst I knew that you couldn't ban people from the site, I thought you did have the power to ban them from this board.

 

Never been the case, mods can only request the ban.

You can go to their profile and delete everything they have posted in 1 go, which is fun.

 

What Mr Gonzo said. We can delete, close, amend threads and delete or edit comments made but we have to request a ban stipulating whether it is a board or site ban and how long for (can be 24hrs, a week, month, permanent etc). We have to provide links etc
