You reached the heights last season. Since you have been knocked out of the CL you performances appear to lack belief. Yes, with the players thay you have you will always get moments of genius but there never seems to be any team spirit. When Bale scored tonight everyone, players, manager, coaches congratulated him. If that had been Ba he would have probably celebrated by himself. For Chelsea the summer break can't come soon enough.
Just like when he was at Chelsea, Roo! In other news, completely unrelated of course, Benitez has had a bust up with the senior Chelsea players, apparently. That never happens, as they're all wonderful individuals.
Wouldn't it just be simpler to appoint Terry as manager and end the infighting? I need Spurs to keep winning. Self interest, of course- I need you to have a damn good reason to beat City at WHL. It could be a runners-up decider. Let's hope so.
He'd still argue with Lampard. Abramovich has allowed all of the senior players to have too much power and they're now undermining every manager that comes in. Unless he goes grovelling to Mourinho in the summer or gets shot of them all, then it'll just continue.

No chance of City finishing lower than 2nd, your in cuckoo land. It's 3rd at best for the London trio.
Fuuny - I just used said the exact same thing to someone. It's almost like every time he does something like that now you know that his appeal is rising and his move away seems more likely. Silver lining is that if he carries on like this my valuation of him as about 2/3 to 3/4 of Ronaldo's fee a couple of weeks ago will look modest. He's a bit more 60 millionish to me now, rather than 50 millionish. I can't help but hope that he can be convinced that a few more celebratory hugs with AVB would be a good thing. He could be an absolute legend if he stays - sort of player you name streets after and build statues for. Tonight's example of Bobby Moore could serve well. Or Matt le Tissier at his old club. Go on, Gareth - become a legend at Spurs! (I do not think that Levy will see it this way. Unless he can be convinced that Bale'll be worth even more, probably, in two, three, four, even five or six years' time. Cos he's no Andy Carroll - he'll hold his value for a good while yet).
