I'm as gutted to see cody mac go as much as the next man, he was the only one hitting the onion bag for us, but i really don't know what most of you are moaning about as he's a Coventry City player at the end of the day and they are going for promotion themselves...it' no surprise is it ! they are in need of more goals at Coventry to progress forward because like us only one man is scoring for them (Clarke) and they just happen to of recalled the only one doing the business for us. they installed a get out clause and have now activated it and they are well with there rights to do so, it's just a sucker punch for us and now the Gills team need to help out with goals all over the park to help our cause. big shame he's been recalled before we play oxford though Birchall needs to be a different man now and hit the ground running or we need to sign a loan striker fast, mr kedwell is not the answer and Burton is more of a supply line, along with Weston. in maddog we believe
Seriously bad news losing Cody. Other than Burton I don't rate Kedwell or Birchall, Non league dross we need a new loaning signing and quick.
I feel Birchall it is all about when he will get that first goal because when he gets it I think he will get better and better, with a consistent run in the team I think he will do well, we need to play him for at least 5 games in a row as I feel it will take time, I am not ready to write him off yet but I feel that he should have hit in a few by now.
This was predicted from the day that Mark Robins left, so we shouldn't be surprised. I just hope that he's used at Coventry, as to lose him just to warm the bench there would be infuriating. I wish him well, and hope that eventually he'll join on a permanent basis - he's still got age on his side, and knows that he's appreciated at Priestfield.
Gutted a massive blow to us going up champions, we will need to sign a good striker on loan to keep the pressure up on Port Vale, if we dont (I DONT THINK WE WILL) we may struggle to keep in the top three. I hope I am proved wrong but cannot see Keds and Birch doing the job required. UTG!!!
Yeah I remember saying bad news when he was leaving but loads of people said no it don't matter the new manager will probably not want him back but I thought they would bring him back, really annoying but that is what happens when that clause is there.
