  7. Half hour left yet, unfortunately Benayoun isn't on the bench to get a third <doh>

Adebayor is getting slated on 5Live by Claridge.

Spurs are short up front know doubt.

Wouldn't be surprised, if as talked about, Gareth Bale is tried upfront at some point.

He has the physical attributes and finishing ability to play there.

Who the **** is marking Caulker? He's had 3 free headers now and should've scored from at least 1 of them if we are being honest.

Another example of a young player needing time to settle in and start performing as well. Was talked about as a flop for his first couple of seasons there, now look at him. Absolutely flying and probably the league's best wide player at present.

  12. I'm not sure that would be the best use of his abilities. He would get less space and would have less space to run at defenders. Playing from wide means he is already running at the defenders by the time they get near him and this is a massive benefit IMO.

Better off playing him behind a front man if anything.

Yeah true, they were thinking of flogging him and then he found form playing further up the pitch.

    Fair play to him really.

THFC equalise in scrappy fashion minutes after Taylor was 1 on 1 to win the game for West Ham

I agree that it wouldn't be the best use of his abilities. Other thing with being a striker is you are playing with your back to goal most of the time, interesting to see how he'd deal with that.

He's first goal for Tottenham - glad we didn't get him now, he does bugger all!

Edit - watch him score the winner now <doh>
