Big well done to Parky. By the sounds of it. Villa were beaten by the better team over the two legs. Will be cheering Bradford on in the final
Well played Bradford, Hope they put up a good effort at Wembley...not that they'll win, but well played Bradford and Parky
Wait... i didn't start this thread! ARGH LEFT IT LOGGED ON AT HOME WHILE I WENT TO UNI! GOD DAMN IT DAD SIGN IN ON YOUR ACCOUNT
Epic game, brilliant performance. No fluke either, that's three Prem teams beaten. Must give them a huge boost for promotion as well. Where does this leave Lambert? If they lose to our South London chums on Friday, I'd say looking for another job. Well done Bradford, well done Parky - good move not to go to Blackpool BTW...
Haha, well done parky ! You have been able to see Bradfords rise over the past two seasons under parkys guidance, very impressive.
Happy for parky. The last 6 or so years must have been incredibly stressful for him, so it's nice to see him get his reward.
Well done Parky! Who's knocking the Cup now? Nothing wrong with the cup competitions, just that we are a rubbish cup team.
And Bradford will take plenty of fans, my only problem when it comes to lower teams like this making the cup is where are the fans every week... it's like if we some how get to wembley we'll take 30k plus fans if we can, and year some aren't there every week such as me as I'm at uni but there are others who probs haven't even considered a game in 10 years will turn up claiming to be die hard.. only thing that annoys me about things like that but again, good luck bradford and parky.... hope for the best! and if they chelsea meet them in the final, does that means Europe for Bradford?
nope, if chelsea win then it goes to the next placed prem team only if bradford win do they qualify - football manager 2013'esque
It could be like when Gretna qualified for Europe and their fans were so arrogant. Lost 5-1 at home in their first European match.
Don't see Bradfod fans being arrogant to be honest. Dead pleased for Parky after a few miserable years for the man. Good for the club too!
Well they didn't pull it off in the end but for a team that cost £7,500 what an achievement to get there. It's a pity we're such garbage in the Cuips - after so many ignominious exits I've just about given up hope of ever seeing a decent Charlton Cup run.
Even though it may not feel like it to Bradford fans today, in many ways the triumph was getting to Wembley in the first place. An extraordinary achievement. Unfortunately, they came up against a side not only on top of their game but who actually took them seriously - that was a full first team with no compromises playing flat out. Hopefully, they'll suffer no hangover from this and push on towards promotion.
I think Swansea will be the first English club to win the Europa League Bradford have already had a significant promotion-threatening wobble.
