Deserved in my opinion - I personally think Krul edges him slightly in terms of consistency, control of box and taking crosses, both world class shot stoppers and Mig has much better distribution. Either could play in CL tomorrow! Fair play to him!

His reputation is growing with every game.
He has two years left on his contract. We need to offer the lad a three year extension to that.

That way, if the big lads do come sniffing we can sting them for top dollar.

Aye we've done that with all our new signings (Sissoko 6.5 years) I had Liverpool fans on twitter saying we were a joke of a club for even considering that kind of contract...we'll see how much of a joke it is when clubs like theirs have to come in with HUGE offers to sign them!

Oh and I'd put him in the top 1 keepers in the league. The top teams don't really have a stand out keeper between the lot of them. Hart hasn't been the same player he was last season, and other than him I can only really say Lloris.

Haha not sure he's at the top of too many chair men's wish lists...having said that - he'd just got us into Europe and been the first manager outside of the top 4 to win the Manager of the Season award since George Burley won it with Ipswich!

I think his contract (along with all his backroom staff) is based on the David Moyes kind of security. Whilst they haven't won a trophy they've been one of the most consistent teams in the leagues (again, outside the top 4)

Please, that was Carrs doing. Its only because Pardew is the 'manager' that he got the plaudits.

Carr tried management, wasn't overly successful! I have no illusions that were it not for Carr's Geordie roots we'd be a very different side right now - but Pardew deserves credit (as do Llambias and Ashley to an extent!)

You've got good players, even if they have all come from France. You should really be doing better with what you have, and any manager worth his salt would be getting more out of your squad.

Lets look at his previous job. Had Soton at the wrong end of League 1. Within a few seasons, Adkins has them in the top flight. I simply don't think he's much good. What you have achieved has come despite Pardew not becasue of him.

Relegated with Charlton, West Ham & Saints.

Maybe he can keep up his fine form, <whistle>
