Football fans, in general, in many places around the world have earned it through thugish behaviour. Spoils it for the vast majority, as per usual, for the many who are law-abiding.

For police 'overkill' you have to go a long way to beat what happened at Luton during and after the Millwall FA Cup visit! I reckon we had 2 police constables, a riot plod, a dog and a horse each to escort us away from those nasty violent Luton Fans after the match!

If it weren't so ****ing iritating it would be funny!

It would be easy to bite! but we took the maximum number of tickets allowed at Luton which was 1500.....whereas it will be a lot different when we come to your place next week - most wall fans just can't be arsed to go to Bellend Rd. because of the stupid ticket handout arrangement. We could probably fill that empty stand you're going to have if we were given tickets in the 'normal' way and be allowed to make our own travel arrangements.....admittedly Leeds might end up looking a little bit more like downtown Beirut after the game.....but hey that's life....we get on with it!

You probably could fill it but could we afford the repair costs afterwards?

But one day all clubs will recognise the massive loss of revenue involved due to policing attititudes - I 'll be bloody surprised if wall have sold 200 tickets for the Leeds game!

Same at the Den though - away fan's stand lower tiers are very rarely used....such a shame!

Just happened to be passing by.

I'm the managing director, I've a room full of staff doing all the work, so I can sit on a football messageboard all day. <ok>
