Every time I come on here on my I-fern now I read a post for a few seconds and it tries to leave the page to go to some ****ing advert and then to App Store. It's really infuriating. Any ideas how to stop it?
It's only just started the last few days. I've had to type this 3 times cos the ad interrupts and it makes me start again. Grrr.
My Android was unusable because of it on Saturday night - every thread I wanted to look at or reply to got derailed by ads and redirection to play store
Is the app on the app store and how's it? i echo the ads.. it's not worth the effort to even attempt to use it and i'm barely on my pc!
Yeah, if you just type in "Not606" on the search bar it should come up. It's not bad once you get used to navigating around it.
I haven't had any problems on my iPhone(though I rarely come on via my phone nowadays), but I'm usually on an iPad on a night and it doesn't happen on that at all.
I had no idea there was an app and I just downloaded. It is miles better so some good came of this thread. Cheers And for some reason it only ever happened on my IPhone and never anything else. Odd.
I've only got a Blackberry and large sites such as HDM are too big to load up cos of those stupid bleeding pop ups on their site.
Yeah i also got the app its brilliant! But a tad off topic.. is there any sort of ad blocker available on the iphone? All the tabloid/newspapers/forums have ridiculous popups that stop me from using them!
Those add's on the HDM site are really annoying, it doesn't matter what you view the sites on, those bloody annoying adverts pop up on everything.
