    Reina
    Jonno Carra Agger Jose
    Downing Stevie Lucas Hendo
    Suarez
    Sturridge

    gulacsi,wisdom,skrts,allen,assaidi,coutinho,sterling

Havnt won at the DW for a few yrs, time we changed that

Thats my 11 above, expect the 11 to be the one BR picks too, though I expect the bench to be different to the one i picked

I suspect a few people would pick Coutinho not Downing, Id stick with Downing hes played well last 2 months and he tracks back better than Coutinho.Id also like to see Assaidi on the bench in front of Shelvey n Suso, the guy desrves a chance, hes looked ok when hes played, so BR throw the lad a f**kin biscuit please

  2. Can't argue with that but I'd swap Hendo and Downing around <ok>

this is a question of tactics.

with sturridge in we are seeing a less rigid 4-3-3 so that 4-4-1-1- is possible... however... ok its not 4-5-1 but its cloe and we are playing the dregs who'll take the point with glee.

I think it'll be interesting to see what we do as it is away.. that might factor in.

might go 4-3-3 with henderson in midfield but advanced to chase around and press so gerrard can rest and downing on the right, suarez on the left... 4-3-3 with intent.

    Haha, I knew someone would.

Was at the Swansea game, one thing i noticed about Coutinho, though it is very possible he was told to do this , is he didnt track back at all really. There were a couple of times when Enrique had 2 men against 1, perhaps the CMs should have been sliding across, or perhaps Coutinho wasnt tracking back or perhaps even Suarez was told to defend as a left midfielder. It was lucky we had so much possesion and terrortory in the match,as against a better side we could have been exposed. If it was Couts fault, it was his 1st game and that should be ironed out for his next start

in fairness swansea reserves were not great <laugh>

I think we'll need to watch coutinho on this and see how it goes I gues but you are right in that if it was happening a CM should have been covering it and then bollocking the lad.

a 4-3-3 formation is supposed to allow some of this type of thing and prevent those 2 on 1 issues though. we are playing our midfield 3 differently by pushing one on to press.

wigan away on a muck ball pitch v the dregs of the league is a test.

A 4-3-3 staggered formation against Wigan
    ---------------- Pepe
    Johnson, Agger, Carra/Skrtel, Enrique
    ------------Lucas Gerrard
    -----------------------Henderson
    -----Downing----------------------------
    -------------------------Suarez
    -------------- Sturridge

I'd like to see more of Ford but wouldn't start him against Wigan away...

I'd prefer Kuytinho/ford to Downing tbh. Not that Downings been bad but little Kuyt has looked promising and I want to see more of him on the field...

I don't believe there was a Cosworth Ford Cortina, if he was called Philipe Escortiniho then a Cosworth grading for when doing well would be valid..

Corollainho would be more reliable, if a bit boring.

Just stay away from Fiatinho; he will constantly stay injured and have all the charm of a transexual whore with leprosy.

Good thing we didn't sign his dad, Lamborginiho, he'd have been awesome for 20mins then injured himself trying to turn too quickly and flying off the pitch, not to be seen again for a few months!
