You know all that stuff on CI by the young City lad taking WYP to court, can't you put it on here as a sticky?

As a mod can you post all of the other teams on not 606 with the same stuff and not just on the general shared forum?

This needs to have all football fans involved and not just on a 15 year old with support from his dad.

Seems like that should be taking priority over worrying about 1-4 v Bolton or cock ends trying to wind up Cardiff fans.

Just my opinion obviously, but seems if young fella doesn't win and WYP do it will have much further reaching affects than we can imagine.

Is that the one you mean?

I'll happily make it a sticky on here, but I'm not aware of a way of posting it across the network, other than someone posting a link to our sticky on each active board.

    Done on here.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how we can keep the pressure on?

Dutch, will the Ulltra's/fanzinista's be gathering in the Griffin public house tomorrow? If so, could this be mentioned on WHCR later?

I wouldn't have a clue on either question, but I think I know a couple of blokes that do.

Exiled on CI seems to have connections to the ulltra's so I'll post on there and ask him. I know WHCR also post on there on occasions, so I'll ask them at the same time.

The pressure is already on. WYP are getting a right old kicking from all sides especially the football world.

Dr Allam told sportstalk the other night that its moving to a good outcome for Hull City.

In other words, WYP will have to back down. Just how they save face will be the issue.

There's a good chance the ulltras will be in Griffin, but I've no idea if it'll be on WHCR. Perhaps an email to them?

Yes, and what a bollocks announcement that was.

Still, it's a weakness from WYP and a sign to us to turn up the pressure as high as we can.

You don't offer a compromise on "essential" public safety restrictions just because people are pissed about them. It's either an admission that they're unnecessary or a sign that the decision makers are unfit to carry out their duties. Either way, our counter proposal should now be that they remove the restrictions and the bumbling idiots in charge all resign. If they want to offer us any more insulting compromises then we push for more and more severe action against them.

They're scared Ric, which is why I'm baffled the Club aren't (or previously haven't) done anything about it. They realise that HCAFC has a perfectly legitimate and strong case against them. A compromise is just a way of saying, "Look, we'll let you do this, so that you don't make us look like twats".

    Over to you Hull City.

Having seen the announcement I listened to sportstalk which had Nick Thompson as a guest. I followed this by listening to WHCR. This is not looking good in the short term. As for the long term/bigger picture. We are only just starting on a long road.

Maybe we should have a public meeting, we may need a road map.

Exactly, they're **** scared it'll get to court because it will bring into question their entire operation and that of other forces in terms of their legal right to treat innocent people this way. UK law may have rulings for football fans, but you'd have a job saying that WYP aren't abusing the powers given to them, and European law is higher up and it would get taken that high as soon as a lawyer saw an opportunity to make a name for himself. So long as that Herbert twat doesn't see it as an opportunity we're alright.

I say **** their compromises, even if they now drop all restrictions we should take it all the way to the courts through the IPCC and everything else as an attempt at an illegal abuse of power. They chose this game because we did them over on this when they tried it for Leeds in 2005 and they thought being on TV we'd roll over this time. Heads should be made to roll over it, and the whole issue of whether football specific laws are compatible with European law brought into question. You don't see them insisting that anyone who wants to go and see Riverdance in the West End has to first go to Dublin and get on official transport just because 20 odd years ago a few Irish people planted some bombs in the UK, so why are modern football fans treated differently because of actions of fans 25-40 years earlier?

Because it's a way for them to support themselves if it comes down to the wire. It's completely ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed.

I for one think no matter what happens, HCAFC should take action. It's a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed. It's 2013 for Christ sake. We've moved on from mullets and throwing glasses at opposition fans.
