After we played there 2 weeks ago I thought that even Blue Square teams would object to playing on that - watching the highlights of your game yesterday it looks even worse. Some of the divots on there are 7 inches deep <yikes>

I think the league should order them to relay it or make them play at a different venue before someone gets seriously injured.

Blue Square teams will generally play on anything, as long as the dressing room is warmer than a fridge and big enough for at least twelve people.

But pitch wise, you obviously never saw a game at Vicarage Road between 2008 and 2011 (it was slightly less **** last season, and very good this season).

Remember when we played you a couple of years ago (Gallagher scored a pen and a freekick if I remember) and the pitch was dire that day.

I genuinely think Blackpool should be deducted points for their pitch. Its a disgrace at this level of football. I bet its currently the worst pitch in the football league and when you think they was playing premiership football less then 2 years ago and had ambitions to get back there this season its just not good enough

No it doesnt help us. But its not about helping us its about a club failing to keep their facilities in an acceptable condition

We potentially lost two points because of that pitch though. Personally, I think pitches should meet a certain standard. If they don't then games should be re-arranged until it is. Too many re-arranged matches, then the fixture should be abandoned and the away side gets three points. Harsh but fair - particularly as our pitch is usually decent.
