news on the w. ham dinner bust up. as told by sunderland target demba ba (apparentely) Demba Ba has told talkSPORT he didn't instigate the fight at West Hamââ¬â¢s end of season party ââ¬â and revealed he was the victim of racial abuse. Ba was reported to have sparked a brawl at Londonââ¬â¢s Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday night by refusing to sign an autograph for a supporter of the relegated club. But the Senegal international has hit back at the claims, telling Drive Time: "It was a crazy situation. This guy came to me when we were sitting at the table. There were two players per table and Manuel Da Costa was with me. "This guy came and asked for an autograph so I gave him his autograph. Then he asked me nicely how I was feeling so I just said I was tired from the game yesterday and that it was a tough game. And then he just replied ââ¬ËOh, weââ¬â¢re tired watching you play every weekend'. "I was surprised and told Da Costa what the guy had said. Then the guy all of a sudden started screaming at me like crazy. I tried to calm him down but he didnââ¬â¢t want to. He kept on screaming, then some players came and pushed me out of there. They just told me to walk away and tried to calm this guy but he didnââ¬â¢t want to calm down and started smashing some tables and glasses. "Herita Ilunga was sitting on the table next to me. He is a calm guy so I just said come and try to calm this guy but he started insulting me. So I got up to show Iââ¬â¢m not impressed at all by him but this guy was a bit drunk. ââ¬Å The people next to me said he was saying racist things ââ¬Â Demba Ba "When my team-mates saw me they came between us. Danny Gabbidon came and said sit down so I sat down and they tried to talk to him but he didnââ¬â¢t want to talk to anybody." And Ba has accused the supporter of aiming racist abuse at him, adding: "When he talked to me I didnââ¬â¢t understand everything that he said but the people next to me said he was saying racist things and stuff. "When Gabbidon heard these words he came and tried to talk to him but this guy didnââ¬â¢t want to listen and started insulting Gabbidon as well. Nobody punched anybody like I read in the newspaper today. It was just one guy screaming and smashing tables." Ba has been linked with a move away from Upton Park after the clubââ¬â¢s relegation to the Championship was confirmed but the 25-year-old insists he has yet to decide where he is future lies. He continued: "I really thought we were going to stay in the Premier League. Now we just have to swallow this relegation. We still have one game to go. Weââ¬â¢e going to have some time off because it's been a really long season and Iââ¬â¢ll think about my future later on." didn't know chris ventured as far as london.....
