Look on the bright side.............Rickie could have had a hat-trick today. Inches in it. Its just not our day.

Fair enough. Hooiveld's been somewhat shaky, but Yoshida hasn't been great either. Fonte is probably better than either so I wouldn't complain if Hooiveld were dropped the next game.

I'm not too worried, Newcastle are easily a top 8 team.

Too right. Hopefully it's time to bring our first choice CBs in...

Just seen that is was Frog Day up in Geordie land, Absolutely laughable. That has at least given me some comfort from the game.

And if Forren isn't quite fit enough to start, he's at least fit enough to be our first-choice cover at LB, and probably CB. Unless he's dead.

Well as someone posted earlier, we are quite possibly playing our 3rd and 4th choice CBs today (until we actually see Forren, we can't be certain of that though). Now I've got no problem with MP going with those two today, because for me their performances vs Man City instantly secured them a place today. I've never agreed with dropping a player after a good game. But the simple fact, for me at least, is that when you are a fringe player currently in the starting XI then you are always just one bad game away from losing your place and having the 'usual' player come back in.

So learn from it and move on. QPR next...let's get a good result at SMS. Congrats to Rickie on his 100th goal, though I don't suppose he cares about that at the moment.

Hopefully this result will calm some of our fans down who think we'll easily coast to mid table safety.

Out done in the end but shocking miss for Cisse's goal. Well offside. Handball's these days are a joke too and Danny Fox may well have played his last game for the Saints hopefully :(

Yeah Hooiveld and Fox were poor. Onto the next one.

I'd hope Fonte or Forren can play next week and Luke too.

That should now be the end of Fox's Saints career. He was a disaster today.

Good performances recently so not too worried but we really need something from our next two matches.
