Genuinely can't wait for that. Not only will the players be going all-out, but so will the fans. Seen a few say it's not as appealing as a game between two of the top four etc, but I'd say it's far more interesting.
It's not a Sunday game due to TV arrangements, it's because we played in Europa on Thursday, so the FA agreed to reschedule.
I agree. If this were a 'big team' vs Bradford it would barely be taken seriously by the 'big team'. As it is, it is a massive occasion for both teams and so whoever wins will be genuinely ecstatic about winning. If Arsenal were to win, it would just be....finally we've won a trophy. Utd, City or Chelsea it would just be another trophy. Whoever wins tomorrow is going to really treasure it and that is why I'm looking forward to it.
^This. I think Bradford's luck is going to run out in a big way tomorrow unfortunately. I'd love to see them take this to extra time, but I think Swansea's hunger to win this is going to be massive.
I think we really need to play Davis tomorrow as I am not sure how much Ramirez will be up for a physical midfield battle. I hope for a 1-1 and I think any point would be a good result.
I'm thoroughly with underdog Bradford for this one, although I will smile for Swansea too. It's a win-win situation for the neutral, mainly because, as said above, both teams will treasure the trophy. This is definitely where you can say that the League Cup is a worthy competition because it will bring success to a club which has taken it seriously. And even the Runners-Up will be able to hold their heads high. Wouldn't be wonderful if a League Two team could win it though..?
You can rep from the train! Bruce was wondering if the train is particularly slow? What time is it due in?
Just seen on twitter that there are no trains from Darlo, Durham and C-L-S to Newcastle. Might be best for mags in Durham to make other arrangements. Just copied from the Geordie match thread.
