I was wondering if any kind soul could help me out. I managed to lose today's match programme on the way out of the ground. I'm not too bothered, but the lad has every programme for every game we've been to and is a little upset that I managed to lose the Man Utd one! So I have two questions: 1) Is there anyone who has today's programme, but isn't too bothered about keeping it for prosperity? If so, please let me know and I'll PM you my address. (I am of course, more than happy to pay for it, plus postage) 2) Can anyone tell me who the best person/E mail address would be to contact at the Club to see if they could send me a replacement programme? Thanks in advance.
Hi CoL i have a copy of today's match day programme, it's yours for £17.99 let me know your address and I will pop it in the post
Col- I was under the understanding that you could still get a limited number of programmes from the club shop a few weeks after the match. Please let me know how you get on and if you have no luck I'll have a word with my boy or my mates Mrs and see if they are willing to give up theirs. Good luck mate
Moral of the story is don't buy the official programme which is ****. Get the fanzine which is great.
Mate, last one i have is QPR reading 4-11-12 with the pic of hoillet on the front. i'll send you thaty and maybe you could stick a pic of rooney or someone over his face or cover it like when we went to school. i'm sure no-one will notice and the score was about the same anyway !! let me know
999's and Col, I actually got a spare one today in case any of the family wanted it. Why dont you keep your 999's and I can send Col my spare? Good to see you today 999's with the girls. They are truly the apple of your eye.
Just spoke to my lad who says of course your boy can have his if you were desperae.............So thats 3 offers you got there Col if needed.......Nice to see you got the help you required
Nice on, Nines! I have to say I've bought very few magazines this season, though I usually do when I go to an away game. I don't think QPR's mags compare well with some other clubs, but it will be fun for Col's son to look back at the team sheet in 50 years time and remember the game and the players...
Heartwarming responses. I bought the programme for the Swansea game, haven't bothered since, as I didn't read that, just rolled it up and smashed it against the back of the stand as each goals went in....shredded by full time. As far as I can tell my boy doesn't read anything thats not on a screen. But I can empathise with Col Jnr, who is indeed a cracking lad, I used to get every programme when I was his age, those chequerboard style ones with stick players on the cover from the 70s. Still got a few. Only stopped when the investment became a choice between the programme or beer/vinyl.
