ISTPL I don't mind Erik/Rosy myself but that post makes you look like a bit of a bumlicker where he is concerned- I see it worked he gave you the thumbs up. Moderators should be impartial mate. Also a little bit of modding is better that none at all and that's where this board falls down a lot of the time, threads go completely off-topic. Read this thread back during the game, was a more of a bitch-fest than a match thread.
**** off just shows you know nothing about football. Try supporting your team for once or go support someone else our attack is great we're gonna win the league.
Wolves may well do Kerdiff tomorrow-- watford had their 'wobble' at the season's begining-- they were favs for relegation at start-- may be best to look for kerdiff's annual bottling--its in their DNa after three seasons of doing same thing-- long way to go--but i would expect Watford and Hull to go up in that order.
Fair play to Bolton. They blew us away after ten. Bruce will need to kick some backsides, but also need to keep some chins up. Balancing plates anyone!
Site not working for me tonight so this might be posted twice. I'm not saying your right or wrong about anything or the people who don't agree with you are right or wrong but he shouldn't be taking sides as a moderator. His post might as well have been with his tongue right up your a-hole. Also when I've asked about stuff on here I only get a snide response or none at all. Ricardo and the other guy are OK.If ISTPLT wants to be pally or cliquey with people then maybe he should let PartyHull be mod or somebody else. Don't know where your banning comment comes in, people can say what they want, for example I know you just want a rise off people most of the time so don't pay much attention to what you have to say. This thread is a prime example, instead of a match thread its a load of people bitching with the troll 'you' lapping it up.
To make it worse, 10 mins before the start i put £10 on a city win, walked around for 20 minutes and thought i'll check the score, and i almost dropped my phone and stood in the street for about 30 seconds bewildered when it read 3-0...
I thought it was annoying that I drove all the way to Bolton to see us lose a game in the first eight minutes, but flicking through this thread, I'm glad I went.
I was thinking more of the upcoming form of Watford. They look unstoppable at the moment and it's already proven costly: for example, we're now 3rd and Watford are 2nd. Erik shouldn't be blocked for being negative no, but he is the worst poster on this board IMO. How someone can be so against their own team winning the game is beyond me. Some of his posts are hilarious, but when he gets on his mission of trying to say that City winning promotion would be the worst thing for us is just completely idiotic and in some way, quite embarrassing. The Bullshit Man's negative attitude is more tolerable and funny rather than Erik's 'in your face' crap.
How many times this season have we been hammered 3 or 4 1? 4 or 5? Everyone has off days, but don't get done like we do. That start today was embarrassing, 3 preventable goals in 8 minutes and it's game over.
Negative? Excuse me but I'm being realistic. You don't find me running away with the 'we're the best team in the world' crap when we win unless a wum pops over and I fancy a dig back. I've always had my concerns about our stability, like I said in another thread we're very unpredictable, whether it's Cardiff away or Peterborough at home (I'm aware we lost both, that's not my point, my point is the difficulty of the game on paper) it's always a 50/50 on whether we turn up or not, and even when we win we haven't been spectacular since last year at home against Leeds. I don't post these concerns very often because they will normally get blown away with the la la landers calling me a 'negative who knows **** all about football' and it just creates a pointless argument. We CAN achieve autos (I doubt we will) we definitely have the ability in the squad, we just don't have the stability. We're a different team every week and more often than not we beat ourselves. The only people who have been consistent through the season are Brady and Elmo and considering a large majority (90% probably) of our goals have come from them, whether directly or indirectly, we are very lucky to find ourselves in the position we're in. I don't think we have the strongest squad in the league but I think we have more in our locker than Cardiff with Mackay in charge, I think a more tactically equipped manager would have us top of the league with what we've got, but at the same time I don't think there's many other managers (in fact none we could have realistically got) would have been able to bring the calibre of players in to achieve that. Catch 22. I'm very happy with the play offs, it's all we wanted the last 2 seasons, not gonna get greedy now. To counter that, the playoffs are going to be a lot tougher this season than the last 2, the previous 2 seasons had we sneaked into 6th I'd have felt comfortable we could challenge to win them, this season I don't think we're good enough over 3 games to beat potentially 2 of the 4 strongest squads in this division.
We're yet to be 'spanked'. In fact, we've not lost a single game this season in the league by more than one goal.
Mind the gap chaps its about to get wider and wider.......AGAIN You just couldnt make those results up yesterday.....Fantastico
However, our aim was never, and isn't to win the league. It was to get into the play offs, we have exceeded that, so now we are aiming for the top 2, not to win the league!
