How much do you think the pitch affected the game? It sounded like we were still trying to play football at times which was a mistake. Still, the peno should have saw us win the game.
Pitch was bad and it was a factor but we had no confidence , Nugent had a shocker again and Vardy seems well out of his depth. We were the better side and a lot of simple passes went astray , Marshall couldn't put a decent corner/Ball in all day , wether that was the pitch or just an off day I don't know. Completely different side to five games ago confidence wise
Yeah, easy to say that in retrospect. My initial instinct was "don't let Marshall take it!". Perhaps they should have let Kane take it, get the lad off to a flyer!
Always difficult to know what to do in this situation. Does Nige stick with him hoping Marshall will replay his faith in him or do you drop him because we can't afford to carry passengers at this crucial time? Personally I'd drop him for a bit at least, see what Dyer can do with a few starts under his belt.
By the way, do anyone hear Jason Bourne's faux pas on Radio Leicester today: Bourne: "Well we have Blackpool on Tuesday..." Pearson: "You mean Blackburn?" Bourne: "Yes, sorry, too many blacks... in the names of the teams that is..." Good recovery.
At least you got a point although when you miss a penalty its frustrating but for us i went all that way £40 in petrol plus tickets and its game over after 7 minutes, very disappointing but that's football i suppose, mind you 44 years watching football i have never been to a game and it been over after 7 mins. so if your down in the dumps on here think of me and my daughter
Despite his name he actually has more in common with another fiction character - Alan Partridge. Ah ha! And he's a bit ginger too.
You got off lightly, I spent £89 on tickets, £40 on juice and then bought meals that were so ****e that we left them all and walked out. I was already £180 down before I saw us lose in the first eight minutes.
Although you say it was game over, the way things have gone for us, I was convinced you'd get back into it! Like you said, not many times that happens. I'm sure that's no consolation today though.
