if going by what warnock is saying that we couldn't afford a quarter of joe coles wages then what chance of likes of keane/bullard/bougerra etc coming to rangers & excepting wages of about 15k a week or there abouts, i'd say say no chance unless he's bluffing again like last year when he was talking about tarbs & we couldn't him?
On his way to the Market he might find some magic beans or that glass slipper might fit you never know........
I take it Tarbs is possibly our highest earner right now. But what is he actually on? I can't see us giving out much higher wages than what he takes home. But I could be wrong
I never knew that......Do you think he will play any part next season? or will he be shipped out on loan....... or hopefully sold for what he paid for him
I don't know it for a fact, but I would not be surprised if it was right. As for Hulse, I'd like to think that someone will buy him, but doubt it. we may be able to get him loaned out, but I bet we still pay some of his wages. If not, then he will feature from time to time I'm sure.
tis a strange topic Jeff to start when Kaka is in London..... Mabe NW will try to get him on ã15K a week not that a multi millionaire needs it
If we are to attract the type of players for us to survive in the Premiership, we will have to pay the going rate in wages.
the only way we can pay 20k + wages is if there's no transfer fee that means over 30s looking to top up there pensions
I thought hall and 'dave' were are the Most payed players that was part of the reason we loaned them out 2nd half of last season.. Havnt we got 25 million for securing promotion to the premiership with that money wages Carnt be that much of a problem.
got to be a bit careful remembering last time in top division paying out all these wages & went down & into admin, don't think for one minute that will happen again.
There are some tough decisions to be made. I doubt that we will like all of them, but I have more confidence in some members of the current board, than I’ve had in previous members. Once they have paid off the Amulya loan and maybe re-cooped some of the losses over the last 2 seasons, increased any wages where there is either a contractual obligation to or a need to how much money will actually be left? We can either get a couple of seasoned old heads and some promising younger players, or a handful of players that aren’t really good enough. Time for Mr Warnock to work his magic again.
