A mate at the game just phoned me and said we didn't get started until 15 minutes. Caught completely cold and every shot they had went in but we started to have more control over the game just before half time. He reckons Bruce was doing his nut at the end of the first half and looked ready to dish out a motivational speech or two. Hopefully they'll come out and snatch a quick goal to give us some impetus.....

A good team caught off guard. You can't deny we're a 'good' team, we wouldn't be where we are if we weren't. There are however many good teams in this league and you will be punished if you underestimate any of them. Let's not forget Bolton were plying their trade in the Prem last season and have some quality players.
We are a good team, we're just too inconsistent. 3 or 4 game winning streak comes to a stop instantly, a pasting by a mediocre team.
Even Barcelona could concede 3 shots in the first 10 minutes. The difference is that 90% of the time we wouldn't have let any of them into the net.
Yeah, those first 10 minutes were clearly a major **** up, I think we can all accept that. These things happen but thankfully not very often to us of late. For me though it does highlight the importance of getting automatic promition. The play offs really are a lottery and if we play like that in the first 10 minutes of the semi's we wont even make Wembley. Im not worried yet...an ideal opportunity to give Boyd a run out and try a new system. Come On City!
