Just setting off for Heathrow and heard from mate in Newcastle that their is heavy snow settling and up to six inches in places. Praying that its not called off with ten of us heading up north at huge expense for night out and footie. Kinda remember doing this a few years ago when travelling up by car and getting three quarters of the way before being postponed. Looking forward to this big time and fancy our chances for a result.
Live an hour south of Newcastle, has been snowing but roads all clear now. Safe journey to those travelling today and tomorrow. Not heard anything to bad on local news. Will be there tomorrow but sat in the home end
I really hope it's not cancelled I hate a weekend without saints let alone two. I've no idea how I'm going to get through the summer.
Setting off at 8am tomorrow. Don't care if I get stuck there, but please don't let it stop me getting there.
Is it possible that the depth of snow has been exaggerated? http://newsthump.com/2013/01/21/british-men-exaggerating-depth-of-snow/
Been no snow for a good while now. Should be no problems for tomorrow. Not too cold today, ave had time to get used to it. Local news are saying no issues. Enjoy the game everyone
Didn't realise that we are facing such a desert of sport in the summer...just tennis and cricket then. Wasn't 2012 glorious.
3 inches of snow in Newcastle when I arrived at 2 this afternoon - can`t see the game bing off though.
F1 is a cure for insomnia. I know, I made the mistake of watching for 25 years. Rule that the cars have to be either smaller or narrower, close the gap between the wheels, take away all the advanced aerodynamics so that slip-streaming can once again occur, and you might get some excitement from overtaking. The joke from previous seasons is that they have a special boost to allow them to overtake. Ridiculous..! The 3 classes of MotoGP is where the real racing is.
