Next week we play you know who..... The five racists, ten scumbags, and seven closet Leeds fans ( twenty two in total, just to help our wallie readers) are coming to town, Looking at the buy ticket options on the club site it appears the entire South stand lower is closed. What sort of tossers are in charge of the plods???
They seem determines to get revenge for the court case bates won against them. This is three or four times that stand has been closed since. The 1.5m compensation won will soon be lost and more in lost revenue at games. There again, another example of where the bates short sightedness has got us chippie
Isn't the guy who heads up West Yorkshire police in an elected position? If so there is a pressure point, a means of campaign and possible eventual replacement. Perhaps the currently redundant supporters trust could use it's considerable weight (pun intended) to lobby for access to the cheap seats to be maintained by highlighting this issue.
BATES WON THE CASE club wont pay costs and the tax payers dont want to pay it either catch 22 until your new owners change it providing they are happy to pay it BUT THE LONGER IT GOES ON THE MORE IT WILL COST LEEDS UTD F.C. bates won 1 million LUFC stand to lose millions in revenue , unreliable, variable kick off times, will have a big influence on next seasons ticket sales
A 15 year old Hull City fan has just started legal proceedings against WYP, due to them limiting us to 1,500 tickets at the Udders and only allowing us in if we travel on an official coach from the KC(the kid lives in Manchester). Obviously it's just a stunt, to show what a bunch of clueless, dipshits are running WYP. They seem to be modelling themselves on the North Koreans. It's a Sky game, so there's quite a few going to watch it in pubs in Huddersfield, just to show up the stupidity of the whole thing.
something had to be done, the wyp charging Leeds £50,000 to police 100 millwall fans the league 1 promotion season was just a piss take. Two coppers to baby sit each millwall fan is over the top,no matter how much you enjoyed one holding each hand.
Yeah I read that this morning. I have to say what they're making Hull fans do is a ****ing joke. Pathetic how a fan just can't make their own way to a ground.
Spot on. Nobody benefits in the long run from taking legal action of any sort agains police. They always win in the long run
Only you wally's feel the need to hold the policemans hand m8,Ringo's 60% LEEDS M8 give him 7 or 8 pints and he starts singing marching on together.
Things have got completely out of hand, it seems that being a football fan is turning into an offence. Today at Bolton, I understand we had ten fans ejected. The place is a morgue, it was about as dangerous an atmosphere as a day at Centre Parks, there was really no need for it. Near me, a bloke who wanted to sit down got obnoxious with some old bloke in front of him who wanted to stand. He was rather more obnoxious than he needed to be and the son of the old bloke told him to back off. Five minutes later, old bloke and son were ejected and with about twenty City fans objecting to the stewards overreaction, we ended up with about fifty coppers piling in. It's a bloody farce. The irony was, that ten minutes after the aforementioned old bloke/son ejection, someone set off a flare and as it was slap bang in the middle of a block of full seats, the stewards/coppers didn't want to know.
Breakin' rocks in the hot sun I fought the law and the law won I needed money 'cause I had none I fought the law and the law won
At the end of the day,if a person wishes to watch the game sitting down that is his right. To then make a threat to that person deserves to get the person doing it thrown out.The police were doing there job, stopping a bully. ps At away matches I prefer to stand, but not at another fans expense.Respect for your fellow fans enjoyment should be a given.
Presumably, if someone wanted to watch the game in silence, rather than having all the nasty men shouting, you'd respect that too? If you want to watch football quietly sat down, you shouldn't go to away games, spectators should stick to home games, away's are for supporters.
The WYP have history with teenagers - especially 13 year old Needless to say no charges were ever made against this bully despite hundreds of complaints
Its not against ground rules to sing and shout,It is against ground rules to stand in front of people sitting watching the game.Plenty of old people can't stand for a whole match may have been going Hull games while you were in nappies, show some respect you might get some back.Act like a drunken lout you get thrown out.
