You wot? At the beginning of the season I didn't think you'd make the top 6. Not quite sure how that makes me 'thick'.
Wasn't at the beginning of the season, it was early November'ish I believe. You proclaimed "Has the reality set in yet?" that we wouldn't make the top 6, despite the fact we were 6th at the time! By the way, my answer now, as it was then, is that the reality has set in that we will and that you were wrong. You wouldn't look such a tit if it had been "I don't think they will because..." or something of that ilk, the way you said it though just makes it funny how deluded you were and seemingly incapable of rational thought.
Yes Charlie - thats why I posted bout you trying to buy promotion You are either very very stupid, or .............................. that's all I got.
So you still think we won't finish top 6? You're probably right actually, Millwall will probably nick it, after all, they are in such fantastic form.
Sorry, but have I missed something ?? I come back on here and there's an argument between millwall and hull fans...wtf is that all about ffs
You're so ****ing sad. Do you list quotes on your bedroom wall and when something happens you filter through them to find something that'll undermine someone's argument? In November you were looking ****e. You had no strikers, couldn't keep a clean sheet and teams below you were looking like taking your place. Only your good run in December saved you.
And Dickov proved an invaluble asset to us off the field but didnt do much on it. He helped Matty Fryatt's game no end
Can't agree there, Dickov was great for us and scored plenty of goals in that promotion season
Only your good run in December saved you.
So almost 7 months of the season played and we have had 1 month in December that has saved us...yet we are in the top 6????
I think you misunderstood me for a Hull fan. We had a dogshite month in December. If Hull had had the same they'd be struggling to stay in the top half.
I don't know what is up with you. You can be a sensible poster and then you come out with ****ing nonsense like that. We had a dog **** month in January (as you kept pointing out) and we're back second in the league. Despite our blip we have won more games this season than anyone apart from Cardiff. Your post has no logic whatsoever
You had a bad November, an exceptional December and a dog **** January. If you hadn't have won those 5/6 games in December there is no way you'd be as high up as you are. and don't say 'oh, all ifs and buts' because thats exactly what this league is all about.
But your previous post said we'd be struggling to be to be top half if we had a bad december. By your logic that makes no sense. I don't get this continual attempt to win an argument between our supporters - its pathetic
What're you on about? If you hadn't won those 5 games in December you'd be 16 points worse off. That'd put you on 2 more points than 12th (bottom of top half) placed Burnley. GEDDIT?
I am on about you talking bollocks, which you continue to do. If you hadn't won all those games in January you would not have overtaken us that month and would have been 16 or so points behind us. Do you geddit?
Yes. I'm merely showing how a month can do so much in terms of league position. Which is why Hull fans would do themselves a favour if they didn't give it the biggun. I thought that was obvious to anyone with a brain cell.
IF that was what you were showing I would agree with you. In fact I made the very post that both sets of fans get too giddy whenever their respective team has a few good results and that it is impossible to say who will get promoted at this stage of the season. But that isn't what you were saying (unless you worded it incredibly badly). As I have pointed out, what you said is nonsense
If you or us had hadn't had those months where we rocketed up the table we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are. That shows how tight the league is. 15 points separates automatic promotion and mid table. Are you with me yet?
