As for the rest of your post, like AKCJ said, if all the that's true then what the **** happened with the "extensive scouting and research (that) goes into signing a player" when you got Prozzie? Of course you need a bit of luck, hundreds of transfers have not worked out as expected. Others (though fewer) have been much better than expected. You are obviously unaware of the basic psychological and emotional impact of moving to a different country with a completely different culture where the people speak a different language and THEN taking on a high pressure job which is different to any you've done before. Just because signings players with high values on FIFA works every time, we're dealing with real people here. Some are up to it, some aren't and all the scouting in the world can't guarantee success. If it was as easy as you say, then no players would ever fail so long as you have a good scouting set-up.
Gedo is a fine player having seen him play 3 times now. Hopefully he can keep it up , wouldn't be surprised IF he gets even better .

Santos don't play with wingers, they play a 4-3-1-2 and Neymar is one of the front two, they occasionally play 4-3-3 with him as one of the wide front three, but he isn't a winger.

Thanks Fosse. Presumably, you lost money on Mills + Peltier. So, if half of the above have left does that not suggest he bought the wrong players. Nige has signed a lot more players. Waghorn/Knocker/Morgan/Wood/Futacs/Vardy (i think. There are prob others. Prossy for us was a waste but the other 90% are great. Can you honestly say that with niges signings?
Mills yes - Peltier was sold to Leeds for the same price we paid the Udders so no ... Pearson did not sign Waghorn (although he did originally bring him to the club on loan) Wes Morgan, Knockaert and Wood are all good signings and exceptional business ... Wes on a free (amazing deal) - Knocky not disclosed but believed to be a steal at probably around £500k - Wood for £1-£1.5 million but probably with heavy sell on etc.... Knocky will have the big boys interested if we don't get promoted in the next couple of seasons but already looks a £5million player in today's crazy football market ... The £1m on Vardy is looking a little doubtful but I wouldn't give up on the kid just yet ... he needs a run of games and to notch a few and unfortunately (for him) our needs right now do not allow for 'learning time'...
Ta Fosse, I thought Wes was 1MILLION but u know more than me. a good signing anyway. I just find it amazing that everyone on here slags off one bad deal and ignores the rest. I am also amazed Proud never listed Niges better signings. Anyway I am new to this so I probably come across as naive (doesn,t mean I dont know what I am talking about though). UTT
