LTF doesn't wish to be considered as a Mod.

 

Might be handy if you were to do a list or a poll of who is willing to be mod.

 

No need to put it like that Tash. There's ways and means of getting your point across without personal insults.

 

Don't know what's wrong with you guys, the OP states 'If you wish to put yourself forward as a mod, please do so on this thread, also.. if you wish to nominate a mod please feel free to do so'.

 

Polls can easily be abused.
The thread will flesh out who is or isn't interested then us mods will have a chat about what the thread has thrown up then decide on the options. By then we will have a strong idea of who wants the job.

 

I, too, was going to cast my vote for LTF, but since she doesn't want to be considered that's redundant.

Instead, I shall cast my hat into the ring.

 

Yeh I suppose. Just thought a list would be a little more clear to those who didn't read the op at all or didn't read it proper and just skim read it.

GlitF would make a decent mod but isn't online long enough to cover the board and is hardly posting these days.

However as has already been said, we don't want outsiders selecting our Mods. Can you imagine us coming onto the QPR board selecting your Mods?

Wouldn't go down too well would it?

 

If you go on their board and agree with them, they still tell you to "Go away!"

It worked well on the SAFC board though when Sid was appointed. I think it depends on the board mate.
Ultimately us mods will decide from the clutch of candidates so there can be no abuse.

 

So in summary, (based on nominations by Toon fans, for those who actually want to be considered and excluding those who have been 'vetted out' in the previous posts) am I right in thinking that so far the only genuine applicant is Pulpe? If so, I'm more than happy with that nomination.

LTF & GLitF were good shouts too, but appreciate they may not be interested.

 

Agree about Pulpe. Not 100% sure about GlifT but LTF made it quite clear about not wanting to be a Mod.

 

Monsieur Pulpe does indeed seem to be the front runner.... we should see more traffic over the weekend so it would be interesting to see what other candidates step forward.
