Juventus want Ramirez, or so it is reported. Might be the usual garbage but might have some truth to it. Personally, I'm not sure about him. He obviously has talent but equally he hasn't really clicked yet. In and out injuries haven't helped. I'm sure we would get more for him than we paid which shows the value of buying young. Is he a must keep or could we let him go? Anyway, everyone has a price so what price Ramirez?
If they want him they can shell out £20mill+ for him. He's not going to be out of contract any time soon so they are going to have to shell out for him.
Why? He hasn't had a consistent run due to injuries. MP has not had time to assess him and he is one for the future. I believe he will come good.
At this moment in time, would he be a big miss for us? No, I don't think so. However, can't see him leaving as he clearly has the potential, just needs to realise it.
Do not sell him yet, in a couple of years he'd command a fee twice as large as what we'll likely get for him now.
I'd be inclined to agree with this. However, they can't have him until the transfer window re-opens so he has a little while to prove his worth to us yet. If his performances improve then I'll re-evaluate.
£20 million + Pirlo. Here's a link: http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/02/juventus-chase-southampton-midfielder/
Newcastle want Puncheon apparently. Same question? I think he'd be a bigger miss as of now. But as Pass The Football points out, there are a few games to go yet and things might change.
I think he has potential for us...would be a shame if he doesn't achieve that with us. Have to see what Mauricio makes of him.
Well I'm sure we all expect the club to be very ambitious with the signings in the next transfer window, so if we do lose any players who are currently important to us, we can rest assured that quality players will come in to replace them. I want Puncheon to stay, but certainly won't be panicking if he leaves. We'll just sign a quality new winger in his place.
Why would we accept £20m for him? We already have more than enough money so why lose a player to get more funds, of which we already have a surplus?
Because then you can spend all of the £20m on one player who is in theory 8m better than the original Ramirez we brought. However i'd like him to stay a couple more years, although 20m would probably be a good deal for us...
