A new moderator.... over to you!

Hi Chaps,

The great Gandalf the grey has indicated he wishes to pass on his mod duties to a new apprentice.

Firstly, I'm sure you will all agree that Gandalf as a mod has been top drawer. A lovely bloke and a top Mod. Thanks for all of your hard work fella, very much appreciated.

We now need to turn our attention to a replacement.

In a break from the norm we as a mod team are proposing to open it up to the wider community.

If you wish to put yourself forward as a mod, please do so on this thread, also.. if you wish to nominate a mod please feel free to do so.

We'll then review early next week with a view to appointing the new mod by the end of next week.

Over to you people.....!

EDIT- Could I please stress that fans of other teams, although more than welcome on our wider board please refrain from casting votes and making comments on this particular issue.

It's a shame Gandalf, even though I'm not part of this forum I've always likes you and we've never had a problem. In fact all you Geordies are sound, I hope you stick around, would be a shame if you were to leave

I'm not sure if my opinion counts, but if it does, LTF gets my vote

 

As it's the Newcastle board for fans of Newcastle it would hardly seem right to have fans of other teams electing a Mod for us. Can you imagine Liverpool fans being happy having Newcastle elected Mods on their board? Therefore your opinion doesn't count. However LTF doesn't wish to be considered as a Mod.

I'm on a lot and I reckon I could do a job, but I think others would definitely do a better job then me and, because of my history, I don't think others would want me as a mod.
