DJ Campbell

Just got back from having to travel and miss the Blackburn game. Really wanted to be there just to hear Campbell getting the piss ripped out of him by the East stand.
Tell me some details lads please.

 

Started on the bench. Came on just after Gedo put us 1-0 up and did nothing apart from make a miss placed pass that went out for a City throw in. In other words he did nowt and looked lazy and totally disinterested.

In saying that our back 3 were great and reduced Rhodes to nothing. As for DJC, BLackburn are welcome to him. Maybe we dodged a bullet.

 

Actually he did do another thing, because it was right infront of me. Stockdale miskicked a clearence straight to him, and instead of shooting into an open goal, he decided to go for it, and completely miss the ball, and then instead of pass it to their Right Back on the overlap, pass it straight out for a throw in. I've had no throat all week but I couldn't stop laughing at that!

 

Yes indeed. Worth every penny....Not.

 

I remember attending a game at St Andrew's some years ago, Birmingham vs Sunderland not long after Campbell had sign for the Blues, blue noses raving about him, him getting talked up a lot in the match program too. These days I only ever hear of him being slated or mocked, have I missed something, what did it go wrong?

 

Any choice chants?

 

I was right in line with him when he did that.

Think the whole E3- E4 section got up and jeered him at that point.

I'm still struggling to come to terms that we would have been paying that twat £16 grand a week, thank **** for Papa and his Al Ahly contacts or we may have been forced, out of desperation for an incoming goalscorer, into matching the £25k that Blackburn are paying him!

Also what was with the AWFUL chant that Blackburn sang him?

For those wondering what has happened to Mr Lunchbreak(DJC) of late its quite very simple. DJC has left Blackburn Rovers and gone back down south to parent club DQPR after breaking his 5th Metatarsal and has had an operation. DJC is out for 3 months now apparantly. More than enough to take more time over his lunch breaks.

 

Be nice to see him & his present club change places with us next season as they drop & hopefully we go up......not boasting just hoping.

 

Yes agreed. With the expected Fire Sale of the high earners after relegation DQPR will need the likes of Bothroyd and DJ Campbell next season. Lol.
