Where is going to be the most neutral position to sit? Preferably as far away from the speakers carrying the sounds of the drum. Anyone know the ground better than i? Only ever been in the away end.
I don't think you'll get in mussie, once our seats ran out, they switched the home seats to 'restricted', so you can only buy one with a Bolton membership number.
You might have to go into the shop at the ground. Buy yourself a black and white bobble hat to look the part. If they are stupid enough to turn away money paying public at the turnstiles they deserve to go bankrupt.
i reckon that by not having pay-on-the-day, they are costing themselves around £15k-£20k (gross). perhaps that is just a drop in the ocean in the scale of things so no matter
I'm trying to understand the fact some clubs just won't take your money off you if you want to buy a ticket to watch your football team , they seem to prefer 1000's of empty seats
I think that this is a combination of factors. 1) City deciding against taking another 1500 tickets with a probably penalty clause on unsold ones & 2) Policing at the last minute. For the sake of another £20k revenue, it probably isnt worth the bother for a few quid profit. Fans dont matter anymore remember!
I would think that if enough City fans turn up without a ticket they will let you in. I would take a chance on it, I wonder what plans are being drawn up for our final away game @ Barnsley on 27th April ?? That away stand holds almost 6000 and with Barnsley fighting to avoid the drop that could well be a sell out. A proper sell out. Unless of course SKY take the game Live, If anyone wants a Burnley ticklet PM me. One going spare. face value only wanted.
With all this talk of Bolton, who was there at the Tennis Ball match? Was a pretty decent turnout if I remember correctly and David Brown had a cracking match. I remember thinking their stadium was literally amazing at the time.
