Thanks for emailing me with all those match updates Gandalf. I can't believe we lost 0-0 on penalties after a 3-1 draw, especially after we had gone 4-0 up during the half time interval. If only Keegan had squared that ball to Shearer in the last minute he would have had a sitter. Never mind, we can focus on the league now. Thanks for keeping me updated though!

What a game by Krul. And Yanga Mbiwa is an absolute rock. He's officially our #1 defender.

 

Mbiwa and Haidara certainly add some much needed competition to positions where first teamers have had an easy ride of virtually picking themselves. Hopefully it will make the likes of Colo and Santon work that bit harder.
