Lawro's projected League Table based on his predictions has QPR at 7th, 25 points off the drop-zone. How he's still employed by the BBC as a football 'expert' is anyone's guess.
It's the 9th week in a row he's predicted a loss for us. As PTF says, who cares - we should stop giving him the time of day.
I didn't used to mind, but watching him spout cynicism every week on MOTD has become tiresome. I hate the 'That's-our-Lawro' raised-eyebrow smirk at the camera that Lineker does every time Lawrenson makes some retrogressive or downright negative comment, as if his eternal misery is some weekly schtick. We're seventh in the Premier League form table. How can he predict nine straight defeats for us? QPR have won twice this season. He's had them for 13 wins! He just doesn't incorporate form into his predictions. And he's a regular pundit giving 'expert' opinion on the most watched weekly football show. In fact, i'm so confident of his ineptitude i'm gonna put my not606 reputation on the line and back myself 100% to beat his predictions this week: - Fulham vs Stoke: LAWRO: 2-1 ME: 1-1 - Arsenal vs Aston Villa: LAWRO: 2-0 ME: 4-1 - Norwich vs Everton: LAWRO: 2-0 ME: 1-2 - QPR vs Man United: LAWRO: 1-2 ME: 0-2 - Reading vs Wigan: LAWRO: 1-2 ME: 2-1 - West Brom vs Sunderland: LAWRO: 2-0 ME: 2-0 - Man City vs Chelsea: LAWRO: 2-1 ME: 1-1 - Newcastle vs Saints: LAWRO: 2-0 ME: 1-1 - Bradford vs Swansea: LAWRO: 0-2 ME: 1-3 - West Ham vs Tottenham: LAWRO: 1-1 ME: 1-2
You might have set yourself a more difficult challenge than beating Lawro but I like it! Good luck to you!
Beats me too - quite apart from his Saints predictions, its his lazy body languauge, and an attitude he conveys that he`s doing us a favour by gracing us with his presence.
Newcastle are having a French day on Sunday...perfect for the red and white of St George. Remember Agincourt, lads
Newcastle keeper Tim Krul is a doubt for Sunday's BarclaysPremier League clash withSouthampton after leaving last night Europa League clash at Metalist Kharkiv with an ankle injury.
His terrible body language is good enough reason alone for the BBC to dump him. What I find strange is that the BBC don't recognise that most people prefer MOTD2 to MOTD and there are four reasons for that: Shearer Line Acre Lawrence and that Scots git. They are just a bunch of smug, lazy, poorly prepared, conceited individuals.
Schneiderlin on Player says he knows many Newcastle players and will discuss their strengths with the other players. He also added that on Sunday they will be the enemy and he hopes the French Day will be for him and not for them.
Not at St James Park but all those wins at The Dell truly make up for that. I hope the feeling in your water is right, we haven't won up there since '96 and that was the fourth time we'd ever done that!
Lawro has only done slightly better than his guests and remember that they have been quite a disparate group.
