Thanks for your concern. You'd have mental problems to think otherwise <ok>

Of course, if you're playing Udinese B or Leeds somehow sneak in. TWF will certainly support you against the 'Smoggie ****s'.

And besides, I can't imagine what life would be like on the forums if one of us was in the Prem section and the other in the Championship. How would we all cope with the separation?

    I'd like to reserve judgment. Too many folk jump to hasty decisions that Leicester are a ****e club, or at least as long as that **** Pearson is in charge . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . oh well, yes.

I think Pearson must be bitterly regretting his flawed decision now.

I hear he's having a big telescope installed in his bedroom so he can just about see us as we disappear over the horizon leaving Lesster behind.

This whole thing with Leicester is a bit bizarre, seems to only take shape on this board as far as I can see though I only use this site for City news to be honest. I honestly couldn't care less about their team or manager, in fact will hold my hand up and say I only know about us in the division and don't care about any other team. Brian Clough never used to bother with the opposition much and he's good role model as far as I'm concerned.

Leicester are just a bit of a part-time rival.. same as Doncaster and Luton were a few years ago, as well as Stoke a bit in the Premier League. A competitive rather than historical one if you will. Unfortunately because of our crap history we don't really have any 'proper' local rivals.. which is probably why we get carried away when the sniff of one comes along.

Or could it be that we are surrounded by small unsuccessful clubs who are jealous of us and whose loathing we don't reciprocate?

Not really. Never took much notice of them before this season. And next season we'll be more interested in our Prem opponents as they slide back down the Championship table and Pearson gets fired. I might even begin to feel sorry for them next year ::wink:

I would like Hull City and Leicester City to go up automatic.

I thought NP did a decent job at Hull .

I think he was one of our better managers and I think we would have made the play offs if he hadn't walked .

Steve Bruce is my fav manager we have had so NP walking turned out to be a good thing ..

No problem with Leicester fans over the years and we aren't rivals .

I don't hate Leicester at all, the way the whole Pearson thing played out means I don't wish them well for the time being. But that's so he truly regrets his decision, or at least I can convince myself he does, if he did get the sack there after failing to get promotion and we won the title he'd just cheer himself up by looking at his bank balance.

I quite like their fans, I don't understand the hatred of AKCJ since he only winds people up the same way me and my mates all do it to each other. Should Pearson get sacked tomorrow I'd want them to go up ahead of Udinese B and that twat Ollie who'd love to have all them premiership cameras pointed at him again so he can rant and pretend he's 'different'. But for now I'm afraid I dislike their manager too much as a person, does that make me petty? Tbh I don't care

I do and I don't hate Leicester. Having been born & bred (and still living) in Leicestershire, a lot of my mates are Leicester fans, and when I was a kid I had to endure the piss taking when we were **** in division 3 whilst they were rocking the prem with the likes of Muzzy Izzet & co. I guess rivalry in a way is who you really want to beat and due to my location Leicester is always the game I want to win the most, the whole Pearson fiasco was just perfect for me as it added fuel to the fire and got both sets of fans into it a bit and made it more of an event for the crowd. I only really hate them when we're in the same division though and as my home town club I generally hope they do well when we're playing in different divisions.

I do hope they go up with us for 2 reasons:

    1. Like I said most my mates are Leicester fans and it's nice competing with teams who's fans I see and talk to regularly, having a proper game that for me I really want to win and to compete against in the league table. These last few seasons have been great with both clubs being in very similar league positions and competing for the same place (6th place last 2 seasons and 2nd this season), made it all more exciting. Leeds or whoever I couldn't really give a **** about.

    2. I really don't want Udinese's exploit to pay off and them gain advantage from it. The other big contender for promotion is Palace, and Holloway and Stevie B tend to like the same kind of players, should us and Palace go up I can see us competing for some of the same players and Palace's London location could well swing things in their favour.

Probably be ideal if we went up auto and someone like Derby sneaked into 6th place and managed to win the play offs, easier competition the next season, I could take the piss out my mates for the summer then when next season starts I can go back to hoping Leicester do well and still taking the piss all season. It's all about bragging rights is football that's why it's so much more fun living away from the team I support <laugh>

Do I hate Leicester City? - No

Do I hate their fans? - Not at all

Are they our rivals? - Yes, during this current season, for promotion

Do I dislike their current manager? - Yes, very much so. Although I'm sure most City fans would agree he did an admirable job of assisting in clearing the decks at the KC he totally ****ed things up by the classless way in which he departed, and I have no doubt that he'll repeat the performance somewhere else down the line. But what goes around, comes around, and that may just turn out to be this season!

Hate is a strong word for another team normally reserved for teams from Pennsylvania. Whatever dislike I have for them will be gone when NP leaves them. I chose to hold grudges when it comes to sports so hate is probably the wrong word. Also as much as AKCJ can get to me, most of the time he is fine as with the rest of their fans. Its not like they cheer for Leeds after all.

i didnt use the word Hate , i said
" not bothered by them , i dislike Newcastle , Sheffield Wed , Leeds and Real Madrid far more but even then i dont waste any effort on it "

Wednesday i just think are a fluffy OAP club (i dont base that on any fact or statistic , just thats my interpretation Oh and they were promotion rivals once or twice)
Newcastle -its their idiotic fans that i dislike , from the flab worshiping to the fanatical thoughts on being the 2nd best team in Europe (behind TWS of course ; ) )
Real - ive never liked them , as a kid they were dirty cheating ****s , then the galacticos eras made me vomit slightly -
    TWS - is TWS
