You're showing your young age in your first sentence. To old ****ers like me this is far from our worst season in memory
You are worse than the Irish gov't.....keep repeating the referendum until you get the result you so badly want. Idiot.
Really? I have started a poll? Really? Fact is we had a poll and you and the anti fans lost (are losing). Get over it and move on sweetheart
So, it's not only words you struggle, but numbers as well - oh dear I'll simplify it for you deary. There are more votes for the pro AW fans than there are for the anti Arsenal fans (oops! anti AW fans) and you want to keep having polls until you and your fellow anti fans win. Clear now?
So i'm an anti fan for wanting a change in management? Oh dear, Arsene and Arsenal are not the same entity. Also, despite your bellowing, I do not revel in Arsene's failure, but nothing lasts forever, and changes need to be made. Arsenal has existed before Arsene came, and they will remain when he leaves. Now if you can calmly respond then do so, otherwise I can't be bothered with you. ps. referring to losing, I meant it as it doesn't bother me in the slightest where this poll goes, hence the lol.
It would appear that this ballot shows quite an even split on fans who want Wenger to stay and those who want him replaced.I would like to throw in another statistic, about 20 of us travelled to the game on Tuesday and i can honestly say the overwhelming majority want Wenger to stay.I can only assume that it has something to do with the age of the people i travel with.
Thank you, for your calmly and articulately stated contribution to this thread Age may very well have something to do with it. Perhaps with me, I've never seen Arsenal win a trophy, as I haven't followed Football for long enough. Maybe that's why I don't see Wenger in the same manner, because I've never seen him succeed?
In my first couple of seasons of supporting Arsenal i saw us lose two League Cup finals, one of which was to a 3rd div club.We then went on to win The Fairs Cup followed by the 1971 double. In 1972 we lost the FA Cup final to Leeds and then the following year we lost in the semis to a 2nd division club.Things then went rapidly downhill and we were then fighting a relegation battle and we won jack **** until 1979.As i say the majority of people i attend games with are the same age group as myself so maybe that's the reason we don't think things are that bad.I'm not saying we are right or wrong but we possibly have a different perspective to younger fans like yourself.Welcome to the rollercoaster that is being an Arsenal fan.
The problem is with modern football and modern football fans (this applies to all of us) is that it's all about winning and not about enjoying, it's programmed into us by Sky and co, the "necessity of finishing 4th" "must win games" "6 pointers". These phrases and cliches are uttered non-stop to the point we can no longer enjoy supporting and following our teams.
Frankly, I think if we drop out of the top 4 Wenger will leave anyway, without being sacked. I dont think he will stay past the point where he feels he is hurting the cub by staying. I think there is some good debate on here, but I do hate the polarization of views. The Wenger out crew, I find difficult to stay with when thay say that the team isn't good enough AND that Wenger is tactically inept, surely you have to pick one or the other? As for the Wenger knows best crew, I don't think we can KNOW that things are not going to improve under a new manager. I do think that is right to say that, given the current financial table, Arsenal should expect an AVERAGE position of 4th and a cup about every 10 years or so. It is illogical to expect any more than that.
Show some respect folks. Cym was actually Arsenal's first ever Welsh player. His real name is Bob John.
