i think that carling cup fiasco was a watershed for many. Up untill then most people were prepared to believe, at least in public, that we had been terribly unlucky and it would all come good. Yes Walcott's scintillating performance at CF against a team that isn't as **** defensively as Reading has absolutely humiliated me. Yesterday was particularly a low blow to my claim that you might as well play with 1 player less instead of Walcott CF against an organized team. Truly.

He's only had to wait 7 years for us to have the worst season in memory to have some high charting stats. And even then 30-40% of the stats hinge on 3 ****ing comic games vs Reading and Newcastle. Absolutely none of my points on him have been proven to be unsubstantiated. He's our undisputed best option at right wing, that's about it. (mostly because we don't have other options at right wing the way Oxo's been playing)

Except I've never said he was "crap" in general. I've pointed out several very obvious limitations and weaknesses in his game, which should be pretty easy to be established applying even the slightest amount of critical thinking. Of course he has weaknesses, and I think he'd play better in a 4-4-2 with Giroud/Pod, but I also think you're over exaggerating those weaknesses.

Looking at that poll now, it's 15-13 in favour of Wenger. Fair to say, our board is spilt on this matter.
It's 18-17 in favour of Wenger now. Looks like a near 50-50 split on this board. A lot of loyalty shown to Wenger, shows how much fans love the guy. Though i think another poll should be made after the top 4 places are finalised. That would make for interesting viewing.
