I thought the Blackburn fans, whilst not the noisiest, had a few good lines in banter through the game. Made a refreshing change from the usual fare on offer.

I blame my tinnitus for thinking (at first) they were singing, "Steve Bruce is the alpha man"

PS. What did you make of Jurassic Park 3? Did you think it was bad or worse?

Rhodes was made to look like an 8p striker by the fact that Jack Hobbs and Jimmy Chester were bloody awesome. One of potentially the best strikers in the Championship made to look very ordinary by THE BEST Centre Halves in the Championship.

Indeed. He's a great striker but we restricted him to approximately 0 touches. The centre-halves were brilliant last night.

Michael Appleton is one of the most tactically inept managers out there. In the blackpool game at their place it was as if they had not done any research into how we play and how to combat it. We just didnt play well that day so couldnt take advantage. How he is getting so many jobs is completely beyond me

I've never seen a manager as inanimate as Appleton was, they might as well have just sent a cardboard cut-out, I couldn't even be arsed to dish out my usual away manager abuse.

Presumably you were too preoccupied with Campbell anyway?

I liked Amber Nectar's description of him

    "the nutrition-seeking absconder"
