I've seen quite a bit of Brady and he's just a show pony. All the tricks in the book but nothing to show for it. He can't defend for ****. Even Liam Moore was skinning him on Boxing Day.
I wouldn't say Nugent is prolific and he's got 14 already this season. A prolific goalscorer needs to be looking at 20 a season in this league. Wood has 19.
Nugent isn't a goalscorer. He's certainly not 'prolific', which is a quote you've pulled out of your arse Gally scored about 10 without doing anything, he takes penalties and freekicks and he does nothing else. We finished as low as we did because we conceded too many and didn't score enough. Nugent was the only one over 15 goals.
I would suggest that Bruce has had his eye on these 2 players rather than our chairmen talent scouting. No doubt being Egyptian helped us secure the deal, but to say the Chairman scouted them is laughable - I'm not sure he has learnt the rules of the game yet...
You have 3 Egyptians at your club now (3 more than most other clubs in England) and you don't think that has anything to do with your Egyptian owners? Right.
I saw Bruce's interview on the Championship show and it was pretty clear he knows little about Gedo and Fahti. Do you really believe that that your owners don't know about players from their own country?!
Errm- did I say it had nothing to do with our owners or do you selectively read the parts that you want to? If you think our chairmen scouted them you are dafter than I thought (and that was already vey daft)
Andy King's bollicks - 'Bruce's answer to this was Prozzie, your owners was Gedo' - that would imply our owners scouted Gedo and Bruce scouted Prozzie would it not....
Are you going to try and argue that 3 goals in 2 starts isn't an impressive record? Yes, and I said I was excited about him, looks like I was right to be excited and you were wrong to not expect much. Presumably you mean apart from all his goals & assists? For the record, I'd suggest you should take all our starting XI over yours and play them all instead, and then perhaps you wouldn't be 9 points behind us. Also, AKCJ, just for a random season update, do you still reckon we won't make top 6?
all this pissing contest between us in an automatic spot and a team that will be lucky to make the playoffs
So then, from starting out this debate with your half arsed attempt to take the piss out of us by stating that we haven't had a goalscorer for years, what you actually meant to say was that YOU'VE not had a goalscorer for years!
Show pony eh, 'all the tricks in the book with nothing to show for it' you really are showing your ignorance. Brady's stats.................. Played 19 Goals 1 Assists 7 Shots 19 Konchesky's stats Played 32 Goals 1 Assists 4 Shots 5 Along with the fact that Brady has better stats, he is also 10 years younger and at the beginning of his career, whereas Konchesky, at 31, is coming to the end of his. Would you prefer a shovel or a spade?
I wondered how long it would take for these comments to come back 9 points, with 2 games in hand. Remember the last time you were a "shed load" of points ahead of us, and continually made comments like this? Not saying we will catch you, but just remember what happened last time before you get your knob out and try to show off again
I know you won't have seen much of him, but that's miles off. Brady's got everything. He's probably been our best attacking player over the last 2-3 months. He seems to assist about 80% of our goals. I won't argue with you not rating our attackers (even Gedo hasn't proven himself like Nugent and Wood have yet) but Chester, Hobbs, Elmo and Brady are good enough for any club in this league and many in the league above.
Oh yes, because looking at goals, asissts, and shots is the most accruate method of assessing the quality of a left-back
I'd rather have points in the bag than games in hand. Your players will be feeling the pressure now. They're out of form, falling out of the automatic picture slightly, and the two games in hand are Cardiff and Blackburn. Not the easiest of games if we're being honest.
