Lot of different opinions on here, at this stage with 13 games to go do you think we will stay up or drop into the 3rd tier, this is not a test of your loyalty to our team, just want an honest opinion.... Yes or No...?
Sorry wize but too little too late I'm afraid. We stuck with Del for 8-10 games too long for any effective changes to be made.
With Barnsley and Posh in the form of their lives, we need to find 3 teams who are more likely to get relegated. And I cannot think of 3.
I'm afraid its relegation, have to go along with Inver, we waited to long for a change, mind saying that, i would still have reservations about surviving even then.
We lost to in-form Palace and Cardiff - at their places - by 1 goal each game. We're down. Might as well not bother training. Sack the ground staff Go home Lock the gate. Close Support Man U or Man City and be entertained on Sky every week with plastic football. Bunch of losers.
Of course, we could always FIGHT Like HELL - as if it ****ing MATTERS if we stay in or get relegated. No, let's just give up. We're down. LJs fault.
I think we will stay up, I had a wobble last night thinking we are ****ed but still think Huddlesfield will drop into it Wolves to me are in a big problem, Birmingham are wobbling Peterborough won't win much more maybe through in the odd surprise but lose the next. Barnsley will fall again once they suffer a defeat and hopefully that's coming next Saturday. The glass is half full again.
"We lost to in-form Palace and Cardiff - at their places - by 1 goal each game" Umm, We were gifted two freak own goals, if we were still playing now we wouldn't have scored yet!! Lets hope we're wrong, but I am a betting man and I wouldn't put any money on us staying up.....
It's not about betting Banksy, it's about maths and determination. Passiveness is contagious - if we, the fans, give up then why should the players even try? If anyone can save us then SOD will. And until its mathematically proven we are down then I will continue to hope (that's HOPE, not EXPECT. Very different feelings). We need to transmit some determination to the players to drag themselves clear. It will be VERY hard, but it is possible.
No denying that and I admire your tenacity. its an old cliche but bookies are rich for a reason, We have been favourites for the drop from the beginning of the season with most pundits saying the same! The question was simply Yes or No. I can see no further than No!
Did not believe it could happen, but the rest are winning and winning. We have to much to make up,we need promotion form to escape and we certainly have not got that. We are going down, and i blame one person for that,he is sat at the top of the tree.
Who the Christmas Fairy I thought it was a she ?? What's she done to upset you RR her job is to sit at the top of the tree
We have a lot of very big games against teams near us, if we beat Barnsley, Weds, Wolves, Brum and Huddersfield I think we'll stay up.
if we win these games against teams around us we have a chance.. One things for sure i'll have no nails left by the end of the season
Banksy, we have been favourites for the drop ever since we got to this div and we got to the playoff final remember? We were supposed to drop that season too. That means we have beaten the odds for 4 seasons already.
I'm not a betting man but at the moment I'm edging towards us being relegated Should be beat Barnsley and then get 8 or more points from the next 5 games then I might reconsider.
No BCFCR&W, it is just a numbing realisation that whatever DMc did and SOD is doing, we have a squad of players that is simply not performing consistently well enough to keep us in the Championship. Occasionally they can raise their game, occasionally opposing teams let us off the hook with bad finishing, but in the majority of matches we have not been up to standard of even a mid table team. Yes, I will go on hoping that we will suddenly find some real form, but we do not have it in us to stay up. I wanted never to see us relegated again, but we must all face the fact that Bristol City have spent the lion's share of it's existence in the third tier of English football and that seems to be where we will be for another few years.
